How many friggin hits does this game want to take down a bomber? Thats a fully upgraded Wirbelwind. :mad:

Infantry aren't afraid of tanks, and planes (bombers at least) aren't afraid of AA and they can just go headfirst through flak and drop their spam barrage then escape with ease.

They said they are gonna fix that in the next patch Dec 4th.
 
My issue is it seems even a 1080 isn't really enough for this game at 1440p.

Or rather it's inconsistent. Perfectly smooth maxed out at the most intense of times. But then stutters when I make a quick side movement sometimes when there isn't much going on.

It might be the motion blur that needs to be turned off... but I hate turning things off in the settings unless it's AA.

DX12 / DX11 same performance.

I hope so, the stock Wirbelwind and MG upgraded Valentine are currently bugged against bombers, they make hits but do no damage, weirdly enough they're fine against regular fighters and struka's though. Even at that they definitely need a buff against bombers, they're flying around with impunity currently.

Try overclocking your CPU. It’s probably just the game though. Oh switch off full screen optimisations

I took a bomber down with a tiger shell the other day. The pilot was well impressed. First kill of the game and everything
 
Last night was the first time that I've played this whilst tipsy. I had been playing it all week and had no issues.

After a few drinks I found it way harder to see enemies than in BF1.

Not getting any of that with my 1080. I do have film grain and blur turned off, but that's personal preference.
 
I've been having the game just hang on me after a round for a few days now. Keep getting the loading animation top right but in duplicate. Have to close the game down and re start each time, which is **** if your in the middle of a campaign or with a clan squad.

Anyone else have trouble spawning on planes (eg into the spare bomber seat of a squad member)? I am either being dense or it's not possible
 
Dice might change the TTK.

I'm happy with the TTK. I think the gun play is good. Guns are lethal. They should take you down in short order. And it is nice to flank two - three enemies and have a chance to take them out.


What do you think?
 
Anyone want to join my petition to have tank's shoot throwing knives? Since a tank round to the face at 5 feet won't kill someone, but a throwing knife at 50 feet will, I wish all tank turrets to be upgraded with rubber throwing knife arms.
 
Splash damage in general seems next to be non existent. The stationary AT weapons literally do no damage to infantry unless it directly hits them, even then it doesn't kill.
