*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Just had a few games and it IS better than battlefield 1 so at least that's a good thing, can still be a bit headless chicken but so far im enjoying it, im finding its not as optimized as bf1 though as at medium settings I cant hit a steady 60fps and usually in the 40s.

Ive come across a few bugs as well, the most annoying one is not being able to spawn after being killed, I had to wait ages for a medic to revive me, hope it gets a bit more optimized soon, I know the bugs will get ironed out so not too worried about that

its 36.99

Yeah it worked 44gb download :P
cool thanks for the heads up. 1st game i bought in ages. 1st FPS i played in a year. Im going to suck balls.

Its a brilliant game took me 5 days to get there. Dice amazing!!!

The ttk, is sensitive. Westie mentioned this on you tube. I agree in a way depends which map

Fell 652 is a disaster, linear back to bf3 metro days. and bombers just dropping bombs. This map needs to go. Terribly boring

I really can't work out where I stand on this game. I've played for about 20+ hours now and it's starting to click and I am enjoying it (thanks to the Turner SMLE) but I don't know if I'll buy it once my Origin Premier month is up. It's good, the sound is fantastic and he graphics are nice but I'm just not enjoying it like I enjoyed BF4 (Hated BF1 beta so i never played it)

I really do think it's the limited range of weapons that's making me a bit bored of it. Plus I just for the life of me can't get along with any of the scopes so it's always iron sights.

I don't think they really need it. As medic, you should really be in the thick of it. If there's anything out of range then smoke them out.
Oh I totally appreciate the medic's role, I just feel pretty useless on some maps with an SMG (IE twisted steel, Hamada etc.) and would much prefer to have an SLR. There'll obviously be a trade-off in the CQ fights, but I feel like that should be a choice I make, rather than the game shoe-horning me into SMG spray land.

Just feels weird after having them in BF1 I guess

Something like the M1A1 would be acceptable for medium range i suppose. Doesn't help that Hamada and Twisted Steel are *****.

Also, some more (neverending) LOLs

The medic's problem is that it has zero versatility compared to assault or support.

Both those classes have weapons that can be used across various situations whereas the medic is CQ only.
