*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Bf5 is LOADS better than bf1! apart from hardline bf1 is the worse battlefield EVER made! gunplay in bf5 is miles better, it takes more skill and just feels way better, only thing I would say is the maps are not the best, dosnt ruin the game though and its still fun imo

The only one that slightly interests me is Far Cry. The Division and Anthem are probably going to be a grindfest mess infested with loot boxes and micro transactions.

Yep, it just feels like i'm playing to grind out coins to pay for weapon upgrades that turn average weapons and vehicles into powerful ones with no downsides.

Although it has improved in some areas, gun play and explosive spam (That is debatable given the V1 spam at the end of each round and the PIAT). It is also far worse in many other including map design, vehicle balance, the upgrade system for weapons & vehicles and that dam catch up mechanism.

Anthem, more than likely...... doubt the division will have loot boxes/micro transactions other than for cosmetics.

I don't mind a grind if the game itself is fun and good though.

Sadly, BF 1 is more fun/BF than what BF 5 is, BF 5 has the gun/infy play but pretty much everything else is worse :o

Its a pain, but in game, press escape, click scoreboard , right click ( i think ) on the players name , then click profile in the bottom left corner. ( You cant do this from the tab press scoreboard )

This brings up their Origin profile via the in game window, click the down arrow next to their name in the Orange ( i think ) box, report, fill in the details. Enter and expect bugger all to happen.

This method goes very wacky if you try it at the end of a round / round change, so do it before it finishes or you may lose your chance. You can search for them in Origin later and do the same thing i.e. click next to their name / report.

Didnt play much BF1 , but the cheating seems another level compared to BF4 , thats what happens with no admins, no community servers, they obviously dont expect to get caught. Seen cheaters laughing off and advertising cheat sites. Its insane, its like the old CS 1.5 days, barely a game now without blatent hackers, i guess the smaller server / user pool doesnt help mask it like the better selling BF games in the past.

Dunno why lots of them seem to like Medic, I thought they only worked well close up. I presume its the high rate of fire combined with aimbots makes it lethal at distance as well as up close ?

Although i played a bit of the Division 1 I got bored really quickly once I got through the campaign bits. Then there was the whole thing about the graphical downgrade and the map being somewhat smaller than what was initially previewed (the dark zone being moved to the centre of the map). So i'm i little sceptical until the finished game is out in the wild.

Anthem wise, it would seem that the marketing campaign is somewhat missing given that we are so close to launch. I'm not sure what to make of it, but i'm going for a Destiny close with added EA mandated crap.

Do all the classes use fully auto weapons? I get a bit annoyed with how under powered semi auto guns seem to be when I get shot by a support with a full auto machine gun from another post code somehow whilst it takes 5 shots of my medic sniper to get a kill :(

Happens quite regulary to me, had the same green image for a good 10 minutes last night.
 
For me I prefer Battlefield 5 a lot more than 1. There was something I really didn't like about 1. Although that doesn't say much for 5 because although I prefer it to 1, I've got to say overall its a pretty poor game.

Didn't say it was better than bf4 and the bf games before that, its defo the best battlefield game since bf4 though, oh and for your information, im not a cod fan :) im not into twitch shooters except maybe quake

It's blue when it highlights a team member when you die and green for squad member which tten stays on the screen I think. I'v seen it a few times .Also have AMD card.
 
Looks like Dice gave out some free skins, my panzer 4 has a white and black skin option and a different skin for the valentine tank.

agreed ive got all the Battlefields aswell as bf hardline and as you've stated was the worst of the lot, completed the campaign and prob played less than an hour of mp before shelving it forever, bfbc2 was best bf i've played thus far, i know bfv got its holes but still loving it
dont own any cod games, step son loves em but on his xbox, trying to convert to the bf series but he says its to hard for him lol

Server Disconnections ( on occasion/affects friends too )
Double infinite loading

Same since day 1 and the only thing they can do is release a poor Squad Conquest :p
