Sorry if I've missed it, but how long does the open beta run for - have they extended it now due to the pushed back release date?

I heard it was the 11th but I've no idea if that's accurate or not.

If you just want to play the beta early then pre-order in origin and cancel after the beta. Otherwise play the open beta on Thursday.

That would be even better, but, under the presumption Amazon won't send out a key until nearer release-how would EA know you've bought it via Amazon?

Yeah it goes through and finds a game fairly quickly but then I just get a black screen .

Not tried it yet but going by the beta forum they managed to screw up tanks even more. In first person view they made the turret rotate incredibly slowly, someone was saying it's around 6 seconds to do a half turn. Why would they even bother changing how the turrets work? They've always been quick to rotate in bf games, this just seems to be a push to the realism side of things that (if as bad as being reported) is a step too far.

Can't that be fixed by just changing "in vehicle mouse sensitivity"?
