i've been watching the customization videos online...it looks really cool, and tastefully done for now...you can change each of your class characters to be black/white/male/female etc and change loads of gear - i wont be buying anything but i'll be much more into it than the gun customizations on BF1. i can see myself playing to unlock gear after i've done the weapons/perks etc
 
The little prologue you play is pretty nice, very similar to the bf1 intro. Music is similar to the Braveheart theme in places as well.

Nope pretty sure it was on purpose, they wouldn’t tweet they did it if it was an accident.

Actually it is DICE so who knows...
 
I've just been having a look over the aircraft tech trees.

The last thing i would describe them as is balanced. You get an upgrade for the 109 that makes it more manoeuvrable (turn faster) there is no equivalent for the spitfire.

From the limited flying i had there seem to be no turning sweet spot either. So dogfights will turn into spitfire gets on 109s tail, 109 turns away and escapes. 109 then turns onto spitfires tail, spitfire can't escape.
 
Panzer 4 tank shell drops incredibly fast, it's almost like using an artillery gun. Have to aim quite a ways above where you want to hit, even at relatively medium ranged fights.
 
S*** can't believe I missed this, at least I've booked the week off starting tomorrow. Latest Jackfrags video was pritty negitive and he was full of joy over BF1 going by every-one else this is leagues better. I enjoyed the Beta's
 
its average at best. played for an hour or so and im bored already.

UI is awful,graphics are ok. perforamce is ok. gameplay is better on some maps than others.

urban maps are exaclty the same as in previous BF games. complete borefest IMO.

I'm different, I've played a good few hours today and enjoyed it. Most I've played a game for in ages,
