Yeah don't be afraid to use walkthrough guides if you're a bit stuck.

When you find a lamp light it. This spawn point will then become available to you as another location on the first headstone at the hunters dream. That's how it works, make your way forward to unlock the lamps to progress. It's a nice simple system that works well, especially to revisit areas to perhaps farm for echoes and materials.

After selling it once i completed it i picked this and Diablo 3 up yesterday (couldnt resist at £30 for both :D)

somthing about the 'Souls' games combat has made other games less satisfying and i just needed another round of this or DS2 and decided on bloodborne.

im starting again instead of trying NG+ as I like the steady progression and find that NG+ seemed less enjoyable due to the lack of new discovery.

I have only made it to the blood staved beast but loving it again, the updated load screens make a nice difference as i completed it and sold it before they patched the new ones in last time.

same problem for me, most other games feel dull compared to these now :( which is great but also annoying lol

I love batman and I have Arkham Knight to play, Loved AA, enjoyed AC and when i play AK i really enjoy it but it just doesnt have the same feeling of satisfaction that any of the From Software games do.

I have even been tempted to upgrade the laptop just to get playing Dark Souls (original) looking good and a decent resolution... although i think getting a 360 controller would be OK if i was happy with very low resolution and graphics... decided £15 on bloodborne was better then £3-500 for a better laptop.

A bit late to the party and it's not usually my type of game, but I've been drawn to it's dark gothic theme (reminds me of Castlevania)

Spent the best part of the weekend grinding to make it a little easier to beat the Cleric Beast, died approx 50+ times on route! Very addictive stuff, thank god for YouTube which has help here and there.

Great game so far......

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Expansion Detailed: November 24 £11.99

Sony has detailed Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, the first expansion for From Software's acclaimed PS4-exclusive.

The Old Hunters tells the story of the "legendary hunters" referenced in the main game and is set in a "nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever."

Players will explore new stages, find "multiple" new outfits, new weapons, and magic. In the gameplay video shown during Sony's TGS 2015 press conference (watch it below) Hunters were going up against familiar bosses such as Darkbeast Paarl and Vicar Amelia, but they were using new weapons such as Simon’s Bowblade.

In other scenes new abilities such as a scream that pushed enemies back were also shown. Ludwig, a prominent character in the game's lore, has been confirmed as one of the expansion's new bosses.

"With new story details, learn the tale of hunters who once made Yharnam their hunting grounds, meet new NPCs, and discover another side of the history and world of Bloodborne," Sony said, teasing the expansion's story.

Sony's Shuhei Yoshida described Bloodborne: The Old Hunters as a "full-scale download" that will be available on November 24. It will cost $19.99 / €14.99 / £11.99.

An Old Hunter Edition featuring the original game and the new expansion will also be released on December 5.

A Bloodborne expansion was confirmed in May 2015, In an interview with GameSpot, Bloodborne director Hidetaka Miyazaki provided assurances that the quality of the game's expansion will not be impacted by his second project, Dark Souls 3, which he is serving as director on.

"The bottom line is, I think I can do it. I believe I can do both the Bloodborne DLC and Dark Souls 3," he said. "This isn’t the first time I’ve had to work on two projects at the same time."

Elsewhere in the interview, Miyazaki said Dark Souls 3 is the "turning point" in the franchise and will pave the way for something new.

Bloodborne was released on March 24 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game is developed by From Software, the makers of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. It was very positively received in GameSpot's review, scored a nine out of ten. The game's sales exceeded expectations for Sony, selling more than one million copies worldwide as of early April.

Bit excited

I wonder how they will implement the dlc! At the moment i have my main at the start of a ng++ playthrough, so wondering if i should make a new char and get right to the last boss and await the dlc

Been wanting to replay it for ages, not played since the load time patch before which i got the platinum so sort of had no reason to olay again yet

I was enjoying it just the Witcher came out and Fallout in November so it's far down the pecking order. When I do I think I'll start again as can't remember anything lol.

Not a bad idea with these games, they arent very easy to jump back into after a short break! Restarted the original dark souls about 4 times over a year before it clicked for me!

Started a new playthriugh last night but its been a while and dont really know what i want to focus on! Started with the whip, great fun! Thinking the dial blades perhaps?

Cannot wait for the DLC, this has definitely been the game I have enjoyed the most so far on the PS4.

Also got a download code for a new Bloodborne Theme today said it was for people who had obtained the platinum trophy, nice touch.
