There's not a living heavyweight who could, in their prime, "take Fury to the cleaners".

Remember when people thought Iron Mike was the baddest man on the planet and that no one could beat him? Don't get sucked into the hype! Especially not at heavyweight. Big men punching and it only takes one.

I still think AJ beats Fury but it'll be a close fight. People are acting like AJ can't both Bang and Box. He is not the same fighter as Wilder. Wilder has a punch. AJ has pedigree. It would be a much closer fight.

AJ's biggest problem is Hearn. Any other promoter and the AJ Wilder fight would have happened 2 years ago. But all Hearn sees is ££££££ above all else.

You mean the same Hearn that sent Al Haymon/Finkel countless offers to fight AJ one including $120m three fight deal on Dazn... and he was the one avoiding the fight?

Whereas Wilders team sent one offer to AJ which was that phoney "the moneys in the bag, you have 24 hours" where the actual contracts weren't revealed and it turns out the money was getting raised from both America and BT sports... ignoring that AJ is a Sky fighter.

Wilder was always all mouth. He used AJ and Fury to get his name out there after fighting soft touch after soft touch. ZERO unifications despite having the opportunity against W Klitschko After winning the WBC strap in 2015 he could've fought Wlad but Finkel said he was still a prospect at 30 fights and a world champion.

You can call AJ a lot of things. Boring, corporate, stiff and whatever else but he is not a guy who shys away from competition. Check his amateur record, listen what Fury said at the time of sparring him when he was still an AIBA boxer, look at what he has achieved in his 22(?) fights compared to what Fury or Wilder did in the same time.

Yes I also would say AJ beats Fury , but Mike Tyson had not trained for Buster leading up to the fight and it took rather more than 1 punch lol in fact Buster went down in the 8th round which actually had a longer count than it should have had :).

Ah I thought hearn and AJ made an offer/deal of £100m for AJ and Wilder to fight and he said no and took hes 1st fight with Ortiz for a great deal less.

No but my point was that at the time Tyson was viewed as invincible and Douglas had no right winning that fight! Also the longer count is a myth! Same as when people said the referee gave Fury a longer count in the first fight with Wilder.

Heavyweight boxing. Gotta love it! Now lets see Fury finally defend some titles! If this fight happens in the UK and it's looking likely it wont. but if it does it's something I 100% need to get tickets for. Even nosebleed ones.

I hope Whyte fights Wilder now and absolutely batters him. Wilder the fraud doesnt deserve another fight against Fury.

Fury vs AJ to happen after AJ vs Pulev!

Wilder fought Ortiz for like 5m or something.... The more I think about how Wilder made a living gets me madder and madder. The guy literally ducked everyone and somehow painted a picture as some kind of bogeyman in the HW division and held the WBC title hostage

I hope boxing doesn't go too WWE. The ring walks and singing acts are getting a bit much. I know the pre fight build ups are always a bit pantomime, but I remember the Mcgregor v mayweather especially being over the top, to the point it was a bit cringey.

Fury riding on a magic carpet, wilder wearing an LED light mask. I bet Tyson (mike), Lewis and Holyfield were rolling their eyes a bit.

Oh please no i dont wanna see that or hear Dillian Whyte sing lol

But jokes aside though, even Mike Tyson said about Wilder...he aint fought nobody all he fought is bums, and its true the only high level fighter he fought beat him twice

And the 2nd best he fought in Ortiz won almost every round against him in both fights and almost won, and hes pushing 45 years of age. You could almost argue that he fluked both wins again Ortiz with lucky punches, because he was getting dominated.
Everyone else he's knocked out are complete bums, I struggle to think what the next best name on his resume is.. Stiverne perhaps? ******* laughable

They did a good job of building Ortiz into a name as well. With his best wins being Jennings, Malik Scott and the P4P #1 Dave Allen

True. Though in fairness I do think he's a tough fight, I just wish he'd fought any other big name cause I do think he can cause some trouble to people like Chisora, Whyte etc..

I think Tyson boxed better in the first fight. Saturday's fight just looked like swinging hams. If he fought this way against AJ considering how good he looked in Ruiz 2 I would put money on AJ.

AJ lost his belts to a fat bum and in the rematch took rounds to put a fat bum away who had done no training except partying hard

AJ needs to fight some more before he thinks he automatically gets a shot at fury

Don't talk wet. He owns nearly all the belts and hes a massive draw, he can pretty much fight who he wants..

The delusion of some people  Loses one fight but wins the rematch convincingly but anyone would think he is only British level or something. Fury is yet to have ever defended a belt. Lets see how he gets on. I want AJ to get through his two mandatories and then get this mega-fight on

Calling Ruiz a fat bum is harsh. I mean he is fat, but far from a bum. He's actually a very good boxer, if you've actually seen him in his past fights.

Wilder's saying that Fury didn't hurt him but the costume he wore for the ring walk was just so heavy it took it out of him :D
will Fury vs AJ be the first $1 Billion Fight?
Assuming it's staged in the UK then I can't see how it would generate anything like that amount of money. I think the UK PPV record is about 1.5m, even doubling that would only raise £50-60m depending on the price. At 2-5pm in the US that's not likely to end up on PPV or earn a massive rights fee and it'll be a similar story around the rest of the world. The gate from Wembley or wherever won't be much more than £5m. In the UK, including all overseas tv rights and sponsorships, I can't see how it makes more than £100m.

Hopefully money doesn't talk in this instance because if it does then this fight happens in Vegas or the middle east. UK ppv sales won't be significantly less wherever the fight is but in the US you've got the possibility of huge PPV sales (possibly 1m+ paying close to $100), as well as the likelihood that a casino(s) will pay a big fee to host the event or in the middle east you've got the chance that an arab state pays a ridiculous amount to host the fight so that we forget about their human rights abuses.

I still think he beat Parker in their fight. Parker benefitted from a hometown decision.

Exactly, be beat Parker for me also and that is world title level. Calling him a bum is unjust, especially when he managed to flatten AJ in the first fight as well
