Well done Tyson, fantastic fight and great job exposing Wilder for what he is, a one trick pony!
As for the AJ fight it wouldn't be this easy, that said if Tyson can fight as well as he did tonight then AJ is going to have to put on a career best to win.

Post match, Andy Lee hands Tyson a bottle of water and Tyson very wisely asks where it came from. He then very shrewdly refuses to drink it!! Smart move, with all the money & corruption involved you can never be too careful.

So they didn't offer him the fight in NY? Well that's pretty logical, why would Joshua fight a brit in what was meant to be his breakout fight in the US? Prior to that fight Whyte was offered the fight in London and turned it down. You can't complain about Whyte being avoided when he's turning down offers to fight Joshua.

Exactly. He refused the fight that Ruiz got because he wasn't happy with the terms of the fight. If he won AJ would've had a rematch but still got 50:50. If Whyte wants 50:50 then he has to force a mandatory and to do that, he has to start paying the other sanction fees. It is his own fault.

Both Whyte and Wilder must've felt like idiots after that Ruiz fight

'Deontay Wilder's trainer Jay Deas says there was a mix-up with co-trainer Mark Breland and he didn't want to throw the towel in Wilder's defeat to Tyson Fury.'

'Hearn also earlier indicated Joshua may cancel the Pulev fight - vacating his belts - with a money-spinning Fury clash on the horizon.

He said: "He may end up having to let the Pulev fight go, if he won't fight in the places that we'd like him to fight and that is in the UK.

"We're looking at dates at the end of May to the beginning of June for the Pulev fight. Everywhere is in play. Emirates Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur, The Olympic Stadium, we've also reached out to Twickenham as well." '

he did the right move throwing the towel in he was dead on his feet. he was going to get seriously hurt if he carried on he was done and it was early in the fight. i enjoyed the fight but im glad they stopped it he would have been permently injured or worse. excuses will come but he had nothing left and fury was just smashing him.

Yeah, a boxer will carry on until the very end unless stopped, I remember in Lennox v Klitschko, his eye was so wrecked and he was mortified when they stopped it, but he would have carried on until it was hanging out on his cheek.

When I saw the blood in Wilder's ear, I immediately thought "that's gonna be a stoppage soon" especially when you consider the recent deaths from boxing injuries.

Legit result for Fury though,

There is a rematch clause but could they not just get together and agree that Wilder fights the winner of AJ vs Fury? That fight simply has to happen.

Do you think Wilder would agree to fight Joshua? I think Wilder should definitely stay away from Fury, but Joshua would probably put Wilder into retirement.

Wilder looked slow right from the 1st round, and that snap in hes punches wasnt there at all maybe that extra stone was a bad idea , so the mystique has gone and he will i'm sure take more losses too

Thinking about it Wilder v Fury fight wasn’t to dissimilar to the Benn v Gerald M fight as in Gerald only had a straight punch and no real upper cut. Fury did what Benn did in that fight, feint, jab look for the punch then grab if missed as Wilder doesn’t have another punch.

Not exactly the same but very similar thinking about it. Fury V AJ will happen far too much money involved for it not to happen.

He just didnt look 100% from the start and if he wasnt fully fight fit...what is he doing in the ring , the same as with AJ and Andy Ruiz as in AJ didnt look 100% in that fight either

Fury is a bit overrated. He fought a bum. Didn't even get a clean knockout on the jaw. He'd be getting 40 winks in round 1 against a prime Iron Mike or Lennox Lewis.

Glad that Fury won last night, Not his biggest fan but I really want to see him go up against AJ. I think that would be a great fight and one to unify all the world belts.

Guess all that jaw exercise Fury did before the fight paid off ;).
