His mistake was not playing to his own advantages and attempting to outbox someone like Usyk. Never going to happen.
He needs to fight at his own pace and press the action. Treat it like a 6 round fight as Ajs stamina isn't his strong suit. Accept you're going to get tagged a few times but as long as he gets his shots off it'll be worth it. Usyk felt AJs power last time he can hurt him if he presses it.
But it does leave him to be stopped himself

I wanna see the AJ that fought Klitscko tonight, but i won’t, I’ll see the hesitant, nervous AJ that’s existed since the Ruiz fight.
not long now guys, really pumped for the under cards and main fight tonight!
I think the undercard could have been better but looking forward to Callum Smith. Cant wait for the main event though

Really looking forward to the Shields vs Marshall fight. I think Shields will be too skilled for Marshall but regardless i hope it's a good scrap. Really wish they'd make womens boxing 3 minute rounds. The short rounds are killing the entertainment

Yeah I was fully expecting them to rip folk off and try put that fight on PPV. If marketed right that could draw them great ratings as Shields is the perfect heel character you want to see get battered!
I don't see her as a heel, she's fairly arrogant but that's par for the course for Americans and it's hard to argue against her achievements.
It's good that it's going to be 'free' though. More eyes on womens boxing is hardly a bad thing.

It's just the shorter rounds that are really harming the sport. It would lead to more KOs as with two minutes it's not that long to get your work off.
I must be in the minority that likes Shields as a person though. She comes across well in plenty of interviews I've seen of her and she's game for a fight. As for in the ring? Only criticism I have of her is that she doesn't seem to have massive punching power. That's the only thing Marshall has over her. Skills wise? Shields is clearly the better fighter and has fought at a much higher level. It's easy to get carried away with Marshall's highlight reel but just look at the level of her opposition.
Shields is a very illusive and slick fighter. She can make that a very long and frustrating night for Marshall if she evades her power shots

We'll I've spent hours trying to figure out how I can legally watch this on my TV without having Sky or a Now TV stick.
