Eubank should just fight one of the Paul brothers or KSI. He would make far more money and sell more PPV for a 10th of the effort. It was utterly depressing listening to talk sport last night discussing how these YouTube clowns are eclipsing all but the top 20 earning champions across the whole sport for money. Eubank may as well join them and make his biggest pay packet.

I thought Eubanks was doing ok in the round prior to his loss.

But he's not the fighter his Dad was. He's too stiff. I'm not sure if its a lack of ring awareness but he seems to get stuck in corners a lot.

I thought he was doing okay as well but he was living dangerously with his up tall stance and relying on head movement alone to avoid Smith's punches. I thought after round 1 that it was only a matter of time until he got caught with a heavy shot and that'd be it.

Don't know what I expected from him but it wasn't that.

I actually have no issue with these YouTube fighters earning more than 'proper' boxers. They're still getting in a ring and scrapping, even if it's scrappy.

Boxers can learn a thing or two from them. Market yourself. Either be a personality or actual have worthwhile fights. Fighters today or too keen on not giving fans the proper fights.

We want Spence/Crawford instead we get Spence and flipping Thurman. Let the YouTubers earn their money, they're pleasing someone unlike boxers

Real fighters have promoters and thats the biggest scam and waste of money.

Chris Eubank Jr's promotional team are considering an appeal to the British Boxing Board of Control over an alleged elbow from Liam Smith in his stoppage win.

The elbow could well be what caused the massive lump beneath his right eye. I don’t think you could say it was deliberate though.

Watching the first knockdown again, the possible elbow clearly wasn't intentional and changed nothing. Eubank was already backed up on the ropes in trouble, getting hit with shot after shot and he's almost leaned forwards into a left hook so instead of Smith's fist catching him, his forearm did. It was two shots later that he really got hurt. It's just cryarsing because he gave it all the talk pre-fight and then got smashed.

What are you on about? He handled himself pretty well after the fight and gave Smith all the respect he deserved. They are just giving the public a reason to buy into the rematch.

He said he got caught with a lucky shot and now he's making out it was an elbow. All the respect Smith deserved?

Other than a few Eubank fanboys I don't think anybody is buying into a rematch and that makes the rematch doubtful imo because unless it pays big, why take it.
