True, he took a bit of a beating, although as I said earlier, I'm unsure the current version of AJ would withstand such punishment.
AJ’s stock is rock bottom at the moment but I think people have way too harsh on him. Yarde’s stock is at an all time high yet he hasn’t been a multiple unified champ, he’s lost 3 times, been stopped twice etc yet he gotten a pass and is still World class apparently. AJ gets criticism for pretty much anything and everything and is a hype job. Double standards.

For me he lost something after the Ruiz loss. His mind (and his boxing) has not been the same since. He doesn't seem to be all there, won't let his hands go, presumably in fear of getting hit cleanly again? I'll have to rewatch some of his fights to see if I'm talking out my arse here but that's my impression from watching the fights live.

I was fully on the AJ train and even felt bad for him until his disprect towards Usyk and when he threw the championship belts out of the ring. That's not to say I will unfairly criticise him but I have lost respect for him, especially after all his positivity in the media and his brand image etc.

Yarde did well but showed ultimately why he's not quite world title level, which is nothing to be ashamed of. He also conducted him self really well, there were no excuses, no moaning about early stoppage. Nice guy.

He lost against Beterbiev which is no shame because Beterbiev is special.

Aj lost twice on points May I add to another special fighter who has beat the other special fighter twice, yet hes finished.

What AJ did after the fight is inexcusable but it’s not really a big deal. He got caught up in the emotions of such a big occasion. That is pretty much his only slip up, but Fury’s loved with all the crap that he’s pulled. Same ans BJS Again double standards.

Wilder gave all the most ridiculous excuses known to man after being beaten senseless by Fury that’s fine, even talked about wanting a body on record ffs. His first fight back after another beating from Fury was another soft touch against Helenius, AJ fights the guy everyone says deserves to have won the Whyte fight, yet he’s fighting tomato cans.

I’m not cheerleading for him but he cannot do any right in some peoples eyes yet other are clearly getting free passes.

Amanda Serrano had a great defense of her titles last night against Erika Cruz. She became undisputed featherweight world champion.

After the fight Katie Taylor stepped in the ring and the rematch fight was confirmed for May 20th in Dublin, Ireland.

What is wrong with you AJ Mayweather i dont care, if UFC fighter can do boxing why not see how would they perform in octagon simple.
The real answer is you’d like to see him get beat or hurt, as did a lot of others that’s why Mayweather made so much money in his career, people from both side payed in huge numbers to see him win or hopefully get beat.

Because UFC fighters come to boxing to make money that’s it. Fury said he was open to UFC match if I’m not mistaken wait for him to do it but don’t hold your breath.

Anyway I’m not interested in UFC I like boxing.

UFC You have been interested in Mayweather/McGregor fight and add to his record why not see him in octagon and skip his record but fight against UFC shouldn't be on his record.

I was never interested in the fight I saw it for what it was but it was at least boxing. It should never of been on his record but that is pretty irrelevant, it was a cash grab which both of them benefited from.

Yes at least we agreed on something his record.
Why does it matter so much to you, he could’ve padded his record against any other fighter, he could’ve carried on fighting and winning for another few years as he was that good.

Getting stuck on a meaningless fight and a meaningless single addition to a stellar record is just highlighting how bitter people still are.

Look he was the best of his generation and belongs up there with some of the best to have ever done it, regardless of wether you like his personality or not.
