I know, it was a tongue in cheek comment, I hope for boxings credibility its just another Twitter rumour.
I’ve not heard it personally although I’m aware that people have insinuated it for years due to his physique. I don’t pay attention to it all until after the verdicts.

He backs it up though. I've no beef with cocky fighters who can back it up in the ring, in my eyes that is just self confidence.

Fighters who talk a big game without accomplishing much, I can't stand them.

Yeah Mayweather was a good example of that, Broner wasn’t he had all the skills but his discipline slipped and he stock plummeted.

Broner had all the ingredients to be a star but he fumbled it. Haney has the ability but his boxing style isn't exciting nor is his personality that where you either love or hate him. I like him but I'm indifferent and that's a bad place to be.

I really rate Shakur and feel he has the personality and the ability to go really far.

It's the ones like Josh Kelly, Chris Eubank Jr, Connor Benn the ones who haven't proven anything yet fight like they're SRL, RJJ or Mayweather when they're not even in the same book let alone on the same page.

Connor Benn has done remarkably well for the amateur background he had, Chris Eubank has done well, again not much of an amateur background, Josh Kelly was very highly rated by Adam Booth but has so far fallen well short.

Not every fighter can achieve the pinnacle of what the sport has to offer, some do fall short, some do believe the hype placed upon them, some achieve more than they could’ve expected.

Shakur could well be one of the best but he has to back it up with a personality like he has.

IMO Broner simply wasn’t good enough to operate at the very highest level.

Some fighters start hyping themselves to the point they can’t handle being “just” a top level contender on £500k a fight.

He was good going up through the weights, until he hit Welterweight and he got exposed. I never liked him he tried to be like Mayweather but could never measure up.

The Maidana fight should’ve been the humbling he needed, he was humiliated but didn’t learn from it.
