This is long but really good. I never knew Mayweather struggled to make big bucks in the early years and created the persona to help change that.
What I find amazing is that Floyd had two distinct primes in his career. The offensive pretty boy Floyd and the impregnable Money May.

I people will appreciate him eventually

It's really interesting how his uncle was the offensive coach and his dad was the defensive. Crazy! I definitely appreciate him more after the documentary, even if (naturally) it was slightly biased in his favour.

“Amir Khan tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in a UKAD test following his defeat to Kell Brook last year and so has now been BANNED from boxing for two years. Khan already retired following the loss and has insisted his ingestion of ostarine was not intentional.”

I remember some fanboys in here bigging Khan up and saying how he was miles better then Brook and even the juice couldn’t save him :p

Oh dear Khan...

I was one of the people in here suggesting that Khan had too much ability for Brook. I still thank that, peak for peak, Khan is better than Brook and could've beaten him. Though, I suppose on of Brooks best strengths was timing and as the saying goes, timing kills speed.
As it was, I'm happy Brook got a career defining win to end on. He spent years chasing Khan (though he should've likely been chasing better things as his time as IBF champion) so it would've ruined him had he lost that bout.

Just need Benn to stop chasing older washed up fighters and let Brook sail off into the sunset.

I've always been a huge fan of Floyd, I mean in the end he pretty much fought everyone, and it's amazing how good he looks - most fighters look wrecked by the time they've had that many fights.

One thing that many people don't recognise about him, is that he's literally been match fit his entire life. Many boxers go up and down in weight between fights, but Floyd has always been 100% in prime condition, he's literally dedicated his life to boxing.

I always loved watching him train with Roger

And his jumprope skills were just disgusting...

Yeah, Floyd lived the life. He is still around his fighting weight now years removed from a proper boxing match.

The 24/7 series Showtime used to do on Floyd was great. I think it was after the Canelo fight he was straight back to work and did a run at something like 4am the following morning. He was built differently.

Okolie to fight Billam-Smith on 27th May at the Vitality stadium (Bournemouths ground).

Feel this could be a fair bit better than Okolie’s usual snooze fest fare.

Literally differently built, he's been in bootcamps since he was a child, run by his dad. Sure, that helped his boxing but not sure if it had a good impact on his life outside of the ring.
