ah okay.

Yeh I can see that in some regards. Still have no idea what all that was about after the Usyk bout. Just got the impression he was gutted, but it was yeh, a tad "childish" I guess.

He did come across well though in the recent documentary (imo), and I would love to see him vs Wilder. But then, who knows what will happen tonight.

If he gets tagged, how will he react, handle it etc.
He would be scared of Wilder, he would concentrate too much on not getting hit rather than landing punches, and Wilder would land one. The problem is Tyson Fury has lost his desire, I can’t see him sticking around too long, he seems to want out now.

If Joshua wins he’s not really got anywhere to go, if he loses he might as well retire. Truth is I’ll probably still cheer him on as he‘s a Brit.

I think Fury will retire after Feb despite winning or losing, I agree with that.

Wilder seems to have a hunger to win (okay a lot of it is press releases and that).

Re Joshua, I do think he has the will to win. But is he really good enough? Usyk was tiny compared to him, and he had a second stab at it.

So.. I dunno really. As you say he won't want a slug fest vs Wilder. Maybe years ago, but not now. And I don't think he has the tools to outbox Wilder either. Both not the best of boxers really, but I don't fancy Joshua wanting a slug fest with him, and what does that leave him with? Not much.

Probably not alone but tbh I’m tired of hearing about Joshua, Fury and Wilder.

They're all varying levels of on the slide/finished and just dancing around one another to eek as much cash out before their final big paydays.

Joshua needs to do something tonight to actually show he still has something left in him. Not run away or grab for 12 rounds to get a laboured points win.

Yeh that's a fair point.

By the same token, they are selling the tickets. It's not really a true sport anymore is it (at heavyweight level, celebrities and that crap etc).

More an entertainment thing with regard tonights card at least.

I'd love Joshua to do something big later. But I cannot find it in me to see how.

De Mori was getting sparked out in under a round by David Haye nearly a decade ago on Dave, fact his record was 43-2-2 before that fight shows anyone can pad their record fighting Taxi Drivers and that someones win/loss record means nothing.

I'm already assuming Joshua and Wilder win tonight!

Let's see how that goes first I guess.
well i wouldnt assume on AJ winning. wallin isnt a joke. just cause many dont know about him they think its a forgone conclusion. only fight hes lost he was robbed against tyson fury. any other fighter they would have stopped that fight.

Was almost chuckling when the commentators were saying that Matchroom reckon they can move him up to heavyweight but that was impressive and Wilder is only weighing in at a stone heavier so maybe he has got a future at the heavier weight?
