@Junglist apology accepted and agree let's move on.

Regarding this weekend.. The co main is a damp squid for me, safe as houses fights.
Anyhoo my 2 cents..

Joshua vs Wallin - If Joshua does not get him outta there he dominates and wins by UD Wallin is much of a muchness.
Wilder vs Parker - Parker stays down
Bivol vs Arthur - Mismatch, food for Bivol I suspect.
Dubois vs Miller - Good fight if Miller tries which I suspect he won't also fat and slow and also less roids in him haha and even Dubois can figure him out.
Opetaia vs Zorro - Another mismatch easy payday for Opetaia
Makhmudov vs Kabayel - Decent fight Methinks.
Sanchez vs Fa - Who cares?
Hrgovic vs De Mori - Again who cares?

Totally agree! But another waffle post incoming!

Agree with most of those to be honest.

Joshua vs Wallin: Should be a relatively straight affair. But I have to put emphasis on should because as of late AJ is a bit of a glass cannon. Probably makes him exciting to watch though.

Wilder vs Parker: Smart money should be on Wilder getting the KO when he lands but I'm not 100% sure. We've not seen much of him the last few years other than get beat from pillar to post by Fury and have less than a round with a sparring partner. Parker would be one of the better fighters he has faced. He's been super weird since getting battered by Fury. Taking Ayuhuasca and making afrobeat music. He's 38 and father time can show up at any point.... but they do say the last thing you lose is your power so there is that. Joyce also softened Parker up, turns out he isn't a Tua!

Bivol vs Arthur: I don't dislike Lyndon. He got a decent win over Yarde but was dealt with in the rematch. He doesn't deserve to be in the ring with Bivol. I get you have to back yourself and take your chances but I'm not liking his chances. But, much like Jai, as a spectator I just am excited to watch him. The way Bivol moves on his feet *chefs kiss*.
It's actually an outrage that we aren't getting Beterbiev vs Bivol because the WBC wont sanction Bivol even though Beterbiev isn't exactly Canadian. I hope we get that fight next year for sure

Dubois vs Miller: The quitter vs Big Pharma. Can't say I'm interested in it but I'm glad it's Dubois and not Chisora like it was rumoured to be. Still, two big lumps hitting each other. I'm sure I'll be entertained.

Opetaia vs Zorro: I just want to see Jai work. Nothing more nothing less. I just find him super exciting and skilled. A problem for many.

Makhmudov vs Kabayel. I really rate Makhmudov guy just looks mean. Kabayel feels like he has been holding the EBU belt hostage since he beat Chisroa in Monte Carlo (I think it was that fight?)

Sanchez vs Fa. Frank Sanchez is going to be a heavyweight to watch. Haven't seen much of Fa but wasn't impressed when he and Parker fought. Had to be one of the worst heavtweight fights I've seen recently.

Hrgovic vs De Mori: I still think Fillip lost to Zhang and all I know about Mark De Mori was when Dave splattered him in a round. They tried to do an 'the gloves are off' on Dave and I can remember something about Mark giving Dave some beef/lamb even though Dave was a vegan, Was very odd and I'm surprised they dragged him out from under the sofa and not Lucas Browne for our souther hemisphere bin-man!

Had a quick look at the betting for the weekends Judgement Day card. Joshua is the longest odds of all the favourites at 1-4. Wilder 1-7. Hergovic is 1-50!
Doesn't look there are any interesting acca's. Betting on all the favourites is only returning odds of about 2-1 for a 7 fold.
20-1 Miller and Parker double - might be worth a punt!

I’m so glad I’m not into gambling. Not from a moral or righteous standpoint but it’s because I know that I would be one of those tragic stories gambling away the family money! My brain is far too addictive and I know gambling would get a vice grip on me!

I always get jealous when I hear of people betting and winning though!

Just remember they have it all worked out mathematically behind the scenes, any weaknesses and loopholes or vulnerability in their system have been ironed out over the decades.

I was about to write the same thing. That's why I love watching YouTube videos about card counting.

Lomachenko vs. Kambosos Planned For April In Australia For Vacant IBF Lightweight Title

Saucy stuff

I mean, not exactly a fight to get excited about but I'll still watch it as fights in the Oceanic region often work out for around our breakfast time. I think George struck lightening in a bottle that time with his performance against Teo, it was a great performance and he made Teo look like a mug but I think a Teo with the eye on the ball beats George. Haney made him look average and I expect Loma will do exactly the same again. Can't fault they guy getting a payday though and in his interviews both he and his father come across like cool guys.

Though I wonder if this is all Bob's* plan to get Loma and Shakur in a ring together for a title fight. Though I can't be the only one who think Shakur's stock has fallen tremendously since his last fight and he keeps taking L's on Twitter. Literally a few pages back I was saying how Shakur looks like me will be the face of boxing. Boxing really is a sport where you're only as good as your last bout.

* Can we just for a moment acknowledge that Bob Arum is still promoting fights at 92 years old. That is just bonkers. You really have to love your job and making money to do that at his ripe old age.

Going off on a tangent just because it came to my mind when thinking of his age but he's in this fantastic documentary about George Foreman. Well worth a watch. Still need to see the movie too.

I put all the faves on my slip and got a staggering 1.4/1 from a 7 fold!

Argh looking at that I may miss Jai's fight and he's one of the reasons I want the card! grrr.

That link is also super confusing because it makes it look like Inoue fights on the 23rd but he's on the 26th. Really looking forward to watching him. Doubt he'd ever fight in the UK but I'd love to see him in the flesh.

The hypocrisy at his BLM speech, the embarrassing way he acts in defeat, he hasn’t conducted himself well lately
ah okay.

Yeh I can see that in some regards. Still have no idea what all that was about after the Usyk bout. Just got the impression he was gutted, but it was yeh, a tad "childish" I guess.

He did come across well though in the recent documentary (imo), and I would love to see him vs Wilder. But then, who knows what will happen tonight.

If he gets tagged, how will he react, handle it etc.
