Franklin's a nobody in the division and won't ever go on to win a title but AJ never him in trouble, never looked like having him in trouble and visibly tried to avoid letting his hands go in case he got countered.

He isn't going to improve much at 33 but he could get seriously hurt if he continues so I hope he retires.

Yeah you might be right. He just looked to be in 2nd gear all night. Kind of disrespectful to the crowd but I doubt he will mind. He didn't lose and maybe he'll see that as progress. However, no-one will fear fighting him. Fury, Wilder, Joyce will see that as an easy fight. Quite strange really how reticent AJ has become since Ruiz battered him.

Pretty boring fight.

I think people are moaning too much about holding, Franklin was shorter than AJ, when somebody shorter than you ducks in for peekaboo stuff your options are to either grab them for the hold or club them on the back of the head, and only one of those options are legal.
