my 28a went to 3.8 on water with 1.65v don't look like phase gives much more :confused:, btw the edit button works just fine. ;)
 
yes i agree phase isnt all that for conroe but fun tho :)

think my new cpu could hit 4.3-4.4 on phase tho....can superpi on air upto 3.9.....so u never know
pack date was 19-12-06 and still i get 29b?? lol

Was looking at them - very tempting.

What kind of noise does it make?

How viable is it for 24/7 running?

yes i could sort MSN.....but phase is dead easy to setup!!
1 word of warning,if u have same unit as me.....u need extra protection for cpu area cus i killed first mobo within a day with there setup :rolleyes:

yes its from Ebay
noise is very good much quieter than vapochill.....only if u have fans on High Speed 2 setting its little noisy but u get upto 10c better cooling
and it worked out about 30c better cooling than my vapochill LS
hmm....24/7 use....i ran my FX60 vapochill LS for over 1y 24/7....so yer why not lol

what did you do?
 
my guess would be water buildup in the cpu socket like I told you about.. If you've made the decision to do it then you might as well go the whole hog and stick plenty of dielectric grease in your socket (grease your socket?? oo-er).

Besides, like we discussed it doesn't neccessarily mean you invalidate your warranty ;)

For the sake of your 8800 I would probably stick a bit of tissue/cloth on top of it until you are sure the socket isn't leaking, make sure you screw the head down nice and tight so the armaflex is really under pressure and you should be fine.
 
ahh u dont need any dielectric grease......messy stuff :)
gigga DS3 hated the damm phase.....1 failed in vapo LS setup after 2 days...other after 1 day in my other chiller.......asus always love the chillers :)
btw that died after 3 months......so any ideas on good mobos??
