i almost died of embarrassment when the nurse gave me and my girlfriend a pack full of information and condoms. She said to us make sure you use these..(this was infront of the missus' parents) i was like, totally uncalled for. :mad: :D

i'm not saying its a bad thing. im just saying we were a bit embarrassed because it was in front of her parents. i am paying a mortgage and we are in our own house before anyone jumps on me for living off the state, because im not. :p

Tbh, that is a sure fire way of making the bloke think you are an idiot. You apparently got MOH for being a model parent...

You don't know me and you sure don't know how I put it over.
They are embarrassed but they also know that I have no problems with them shagging as long as they keep safe.
If letting my kids have a good time is being a bad parent then so be it.
I just want them childless until the time is right and being direct is the THE BEST WAY.
If you know of a better way by beating around the bush and not talking about it then let me know.
 
Can I ask a question (and have you answer 100% honestly) is it worth it?

All I can see are the downsides, loss of free time, loss of income, wife gets a bit more strecthed ;) and it all lasts 18 years? Why bother?

Lots of lovely'n's though so congrats too :)

Just passed 1 year old and i must say we have been very lucky, she hardly ever crys and she sleeps right through the night usually 21.30-9.00/10.00ish without waking up! :eek:

I didn't want kids.

And yes it's worth it.

It's hard but having that little one that is your little replica and who looks up to you is unbeatable :)
