peterattheboro that is one seriously cute pic.

Would dearly love to be a Mummy (yes I know this is a Daddy thread) but im starting to think its just not going to happen. I just wanted to post to say how lovely it is to see so many dads talking about their children in such a lovely way.

My lads are a bit older than most in this thread but my problem is still the same. I just want a night's sleep. But they bang and crash around the house till 3 or sometimes 4 in the morning. Well, to be fair they are trying to be quiet but at that time of night boiling a kettle, making toast, stirring tea, moving around the house, flushing the toilet, talking together, watching TV/radio/dvds quietly ... and so on ... all sounds so much worse. Sigh.

Exactly the same for me with my 21 & 19 year old girls.
They don't realise that you still wait up for them.

Update with Lukas. He's 1 next Tuesday and we are having a little party the weekend after. He's also just able to stand still unaided. (30 seconds is his record)

He's also now got a couple of teeth showing.

How long do you think it'll be before he's taking his first steps?
