The main issues are:

* Input lag of ~30 - 35ms (should be fixed in A01)
* Sharpness - This manifests itself in some slight colour shadows around text. (Will be fixed in A01)
* One side of the panel brighter than the other (Dell refuses to admit this)
* Colour banding (should be fixed in A01)
* Red/Green tint (Defect in the panel not related to revisions)

Does anyone have A01 yet and has it resolved the above issues?

guys im having big trouble trying to decide what 24" monitor for gaming n 1080p HD movie viewing to buy, this monitor has its own thread which is pretty interesting, would u say its the best value for money from ocuk CURRENTLY? or have any different opinions?

thanks guys

Notice the 2408 is now listed on the OcUK shop as revision A01.

Anyone tested one of these for input lag yet? Any info on upgrades for A00 screens?

The problem is as "ecat" confirmed in another thread the new monitor and the box it came in from OC still says rev A00.

Concrete confirmation is needed that it's the A01 with a A00 sticker.

You're welcome TALON1973.

You may want to give ClearType a try too.

Display Properties->Appearance-> Effects.

From Microsoft:

With Windows XP, ClearType delivers improved font display quality over traditional forms of font smoothing or anti-aliasing. ClearType improves readability on color LCD displays with a digital interface, such as those in laptops and high-quality flat panel displays.

If OCUK have REV A01 it will show on the Dell packing label on the outside of the box

ALL DELL monitor revisions are shown on the Dell outer packing label

Sounds like OCUK are misleading customer if they are claiming A01 and they are not

Except there has been reports that Dell have kept the revision at A00
I agree though best to wait for Dell confirmation
