What are the ways to get onto the Beta on a PS4? Is it only by pre-ordering at a particular retailer?

I can't see this being a fun game to play on your own - definitely feels like a more accomplished Warframe just maybe not as obviously grindy. I can see why people feel its so generic...

Definitely needs co-op interactions to get the best of it - though as it's just what seems to be an early part of the game perhaps doesn't help.

Will keep trying it though

Looking forward to this. Couldn't be bothered with trying the Alpha but will give it a go in July for a couple of hours.
I'm excited for it because I'll be playing it with 3-4 mates. I would not buy it if none of my actual friends were playing it.

These days it's all about gaming with them. If by myself, TV series are much more appealing to me - only single player games in the last 6-7 years that got me away from a Tv series I was watching have been the Souls games.

Want more online co-op games so can't wait for them to start coming out in a few months time.
 
Is this game got a free roam element to it, can you explore other planets and so on....?


There was a game on ps3 that this reminds me of, can't for the life of me remember what it was called but you could explore with your own space ship

It has free roam/exploration so you can visit other planets join for raids etc. you select the planets from orbit and auto fly there, it's not a case of flying the space ship if that's what you mean though.

The good thing about the game is you can play it as you wish, from a single player game, to small co-op to organised raids. I think there will be a phone app on release to that will help with organised raids etc.
 
Has anyone tried the PvP? That announcer is awful lets hope they change him. That part of the game is very underwelming at this stage, fingers crossed it gets a lot of work for the next build we see.

I wonder how old this build is?
 
Yeah, I played a round of PvP earlier, was a lot of fun. Think I went something like 20 kills 5 deaths so that might have made my enjoyment a bit bias.

Lol maybe, or i did bad so i think the games bad :D

Im giving it a chance as its alpha, however true that maybe i dont know, but will look at the beta for improvements

The frame rate in pvp was too stuttery for me at this stage

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Alpha which you are playing now, that will not qualify you for the Beta.
 
So how do i advance in this? On the explore mission running round doing all the repetitive little beacon missions but nothings advancing, found an area that was much higher level than me so turned around but now just seems like i cant do anything?
 
Damn been really busy this week and missed out on applying for code. If anyone has a spare one i'd very much appreciate it!
