Yup, let the countdown begin :)

Just been reading up on the Guardian classes, as I didn't play the beta I have no experience with any of them it is difficult to choose. I think a lot of people will be Hunters as it seems to fit a more FPS style of play so thinking Warlock or Titan, I just don't know which. I think it might a game of eeny meeny miny moe when it arrives.

I maxed all 3 classes during the beta, I'll be using the Titan class but I feel like Hunter is best for PvP. They have a really nice jump and move around quite fast, the Titan and Warlock tend to stay in the air for extended periods of time and you can be picked off quite easy but Hunters are harder to keep in your sights. Plus the golden gun ability is great.

I never thought about it until now but the fact that the PvE and PvP are so closely linked could be quite a big negative. The suggestion seems that the fireteams will benefit from a balance of the classes but, if the PvP favours the Hunter class then it is going to the almost 'default' class, skewing the numbers of each class in PvE which could mean it will be difficult to balance PvE fireteams.

They are working hard on equalising the classes following data received during the alpha and the beta so are hopefully going to solve this possible issue.

I only played as a warlock and quite enjoyed it so I think I'll level that first. Definitely interested in trying out the hunter though. Never really liked tanks I've always preferred dps.

Getting mega excited for this now.

Made the MP thread here

Gonna main a Warlock til level 15 subclasses and then make a Hunter for PvP

Does anyone know if we get more than 3 character slots? Also can we re-roll subclasses?

ps3ud0

I haven't played the alpha or the beta and the hype is real for me - can't wait to get stuck in on release day!

I'm in the same boat but I've seen a fair amount of gameplay footage and played games similar to this that I've enjoyed so I know I will like it.

Getting used to aiming with a control pad again is my only concern, I've been spoiled by mouse+kb for first person shooters for way too long.

I've moved back to PS4, realised I do now prefer the Dualshock plus know it looks and plays awesome on PS4.

Went XB1->PS4->XB1->PS4 :D

New shiny white PS4 on preorder :)

Both subclasses and all their various skills can be changed and swapped around. But you can choose to lock in a sub class and the selected skills permanently which gives you a bonus but can't ever be changed.

And only three character slots that is set in stone.

I just need to decide how to buy it... UK Digital, US Digital or UK Disc Copy... Think I'm gonna go digital as it seems like a game I am going to play for a long long time anyway

Going to make for some interesting choices depending on what additional bonus you get for fixing your skills, do you keep the flexibility of being able to adapt to different fights or take the bonus and stick with one load out.

I’m sure that at some point they will give us extra character slots, at a cost of course not for free :p

I have a PS4 already and I'm trying to resist buying the white one... but I really want one so I may give in before long.

Can't wait for my week off work which just happens to be the week this is out :)
