No its not just you. Quite a few people have said the same and that has been my experience also. Seems boss loot is screwed up in Nightmare.

Yes, why on earth did blizzard allow the US client to be downloaded from eu.battle.net.

Thats the problem with region specific patching, and global clients. You get a big complete mess up.

That's how its suppose to be, blizzard designed it this way so people don't farm bosses and skip all the randomly generated maps like in Diablo II, because it was boring, now you go to hunt for elite/champ packs for a better chance of getting rare loot etc.

Also magic find gear helps + valor buff stacked 5 times when you hit level 60.

wow, just in the jail bit of act 1 and managed to aggro 2 elite packs at the same time. I'm having to run in, try and kill 1 with all my CDs then wait 2 mins, rinse and repeat. it's so tiresome as my gear just isn't good enough now :(

Bosses don't drop good gear, then again they are all trivial compared to the roaming packs. Had plenty of rare drops in NM, none from the bosses.
 
I just got a level 14 blue dagger with legendary writing on it saying " don't drop it... might lose a toe"

Its called the clipper, is it some kind of Easter egg?

What spells are you Inferno Witch Doctors using? i am now trying Soul Harvest with lifetap rune, Grasp with 80% snare, Horrify with 6s longer, Wall of Zombies with barricade, Splinters and Spirit Walk with self heal rune but it's not going very well.....guess i need to use zombie bear build though even then seems a pack can maul you out in a second by ignoring the pets.

Ok, so, hit L60 earlier, and haven't spent more than 100k on a single item apart from that helm I bought off of Tom for looks more than anything else xD

280+ Res, 38k hp, 4240 armour, 16k DPS.

Unbuffed... xD

Buffed, all the res' jump to 420ish, and Damage jumps to 55k.

Any dhs let me know if this is any good/worth?

Stats look decent, but I have no idea how quivers work, do they have damage ranges on them like wizard/wd offhands?

Seriously does nobody read these things properly?

Blizzard did NOT design it so that bosses drop utter rubbish on your first trip. They designed it so repeatedly running the same boss will yield absolute rubbish. Nightmare is the only difficulty that seems to have this problem. On Normal, they drop rares. On Hell, they drop rares. On Nightmare, they drop magics.

Officially have Act 3 on Farm, getting the hang of the mobs now, changed to Entangling Shot and back to Stampede. Kept Tactical Advantage (over a suggestion to put SS back in) passive as it really does help against fast elites and for any oh **** moments.

In terms of gold, it's not as profitable as act 1 butcher runs simply because it takes longer. Although the gold drops are generally higher. Although I've just switched out 15% gold find pants for another 38 dex, so that'll reduce it somewhat.

My experience of Act 1 Hell so far doesn't agree on the rare drops, although I haven't done butcher yet.

No the only thing that works in the AH atm is equipment. I don't know whether they removed the rest to reduce the load on the AH or because they're in the process of patching the blacksmith/jeweller, but its annoying either way.
 
Out of my whole AH experience, buying gems was the worst, failed or timed out more often than not...took your money either way.

Came on one day and had like 10 gems waiting for me, as I thought they'd failed every time :p
