I play a barb who was geared fine for act 1 farming and I have completed act 2 but found farming not quite as efficient as in act 1 (more deaths and occasional annoying affixes).

im finding act2 a little easier now, ive died a couple of times but thats mainly due to me thinking 'i got this!' but then getting stunned/frozen and killed so its silly mistakes really. i was able to do act2 before quite reliably though, not tried act3 yet. i dont have the bawls :p
 
Even though i am in act 3, act 2 is still very difficult at times.

But since hell level i have only been playing in, coop usually with 4 players who i don't know so that adds an extra element of difficulty because often players suck. But recently i have had some good players and i keep telling them to regroup and that seems to be working because often when you start dying and re-spawn you go back to elite pack and die individually when realy you should regroup if you want to stand a chance.

I just need some items to sell for a few mill because the amount that i would have to to farm to get a decent amount of money is way more than i have time for.

Until you've gone up a few levels (your character level), it all feels very samey.

It's not a game for everyone, personally, I love point & slash games :)
 
I think I may gave act 2 a farming go tonight then, I especially like that the elites don't get their health back when you die, that used to ruin me.

May try upgrading some items tonight, got about 10m to spend but would preferably spend less than 5m. (made most of my gold a few nights ago selling an amulet for 15m that I picked up for 799k)

I was definitely finding Act2 a bit easier than previously last night. Was able to do it before but it seemed on the whole that it was a little less annoying now - annoying mobs were less insane.
Before I'd have to save up all my powers to use at once to beat them, now I can actually beat most mobs without even having to us WotB!
 
played for a few hours with 200% mf, got a few hundred yellows and not a single item id consider listing on the AH - all trash!

For ghom, if ranaged, kite him 5/6 yards at a time, take him right out to the corners, it drops gas where it won't get in the way, then by the time you have done a full lap it's gone.

the monk weapon would be epic if it had a socket, its still worth a few mil though i would think.

The bow isnt going to fetch much as it has no dex.

haha, just noticed in my list of choosable quests for inferno, it goes 1 to 7 and skips the ones in between. i thought that it was a quick act3! it must have saved me when i joined someones game when they were at the end of act 3 :p

Bah, I've been trying to kill diablo for 3 days now with no joy on my DH. Only took me about 3 hours to get through the rest of act IV. Keep dying to those shadow clones on the 2nd stage of him tt
