It most definitely is. Like you I was left annoyed and frustrated at the AH being the way to progress through the game, so I stopped playing almost 2 years ago. I patched it up and played for over 3 hours last night, and it feels the way it should have done at the beginning. Like D2 with a prettier engine. I had a Legendary drop from a hole in the floor! Totally awesome!

Do it !! this is how the game should have been released, it's fun pure and simple.

We have a clan that everyone is free to join, search OcUK and hit apply :)
 
I've got some spare Lacuni Prowler bracers that are worth a fair bit if anyone wants them.

86 Strength
78 Dexterity
Attack Speed +9%
Crit Chance +6%
+12% Movement Speed
Ranged and melee attackers take 1069 damage
 
I logged in after the patch for the first time, fired up a solo game and it wasnt even on torment 1, it was on hard i think or possibly even normal? anyhow i started Act1, run over and looted a chest and a set ring dropped from it.. they made this game so much better now, its brilliant solo but even better in a group, we formed our clan up and theres always someone online to party up with. I made a wicked Hellfire ring last night for my DH too.
 
Been playing this non stop last two days tbh - feels quite refreshed, ive gotten two upgrades but they were crafted, not found anything on thw ground, but my main charater is okay-ly specked and I know my 3 alts will get a lot of upgrades from current loot. Just been trying to level too.
 
The new expansion is sounding fantastic, but I don't know whether to get this on PC or wait for the PS4 version as I've heard it plays really well on consoles.
 
I have this on PC and was really disappointed by it, but I'm going to buy it along with a PS4 since I love me some local co-op, and they've improved the loot.

One thing I always wondered was, why did Tyrael land on that cathedral from the previous Diablo games? He fell out of heaven and out of the entire world of Sanctuary he just happened to land on it, I mean what are the actual chances of that?
 
Dam them making this fun again, do i buy it when ill be playing Titanfall or do i wait and see if I can pick it up cheaper later after launch (Blizzard games dont tend to get "cheap").

I think ill get it even TBH ive droped 300 hrs into messing around on d3 so even at an extra £25 its still good value.

Dc'd after the first 2 mobs ><

I have a sneaking suspicion my gear is now horribly out of date and some of the builds simply won't work any more. My Barb was decently geared for Whirlwind and that doesn't seem feasible anymore. Problem is I have all 5 characters at 60 so it seems a little pointless starting a new one to get into the swing of things again.

Ate barb build is nerfed to the ground but I'm still trying to use him :) - also if your gear is under powered no worries- you'l def. find an upgrade (or craft one) for some slot

Aye its just knowing what difficulty to go at without trial and error. For whatever reason it defaulted my barb to Torment IV. Wasn't exactly killing fast on the 2 mobs I did fight but then that could be down to the fact the build doesn't work anymore. Probably would've gotten wrecked by a Champ/Elite though.

I am a little tempted to start another Hardcore character and try and figure things out from that.
 
My expensive barb pre patch who could farm mp10 is now doing torment 1 & 2 haha. its ok though, finding new upgrades is fun again & I like the slower pace over whirlwind for now. Legi's & exp is com ming in at an ok rate. I'd given up on it but I think I'll buy the expansion now.
 
Just joined the OCUK Clan (Akkari). Looking forward to getting back into this, liking the look of the changes!

Not sure what mode to play though, am a lvl 60 wizard. Started on the one before Torment for now :)
 
Might have to give this another shot if the drops have been improved. Last time I played the game felt slow (compared to Path of Exile) and I got bored of the lack of drops.
Now I'm so fed up with the desyncing making PoE unplayable I've just not played any arpg since the start of the year!
