***** The Official Division Thread *****

Angry Joe raised a good point with the game and that it's being restricted by the Tom Clancy licence and their obsession with making everything as realistic as possible. Ditch the licence, make some mutated monsters as bosses and we'll talk. Until then, RIP Division.

Uh, no thanks.

It's not annoying you that every single thing you kill is exactly the same? The only boss that was a bit different was a heli. Everything else is exactly the same, but with the health numbers blasted through the roof.

Is anyone low level an doesnt mind gaming with someone who doesnt use a mic? I'm just soloing the medical rescue mission atm.

Odd, side missions were all red bar for me, other than an odd enemy here or there.

I found it a bit odd as well, as previous side missions never turned up with purple or gold bar enemies.

I'll just have to pull in a few friends who have better weapons than I do at the moment, I can just sit back and reap the rewards :p lol.

i'm level 280 in destiny can i join raid hard mode? nope

the division at level 12 i can do level 30 mission, i will die loads and do little damage but you can still help the team by using your skills.

Of course you can't and that's a good thing. Why put yourself in an end game when you make absolutely no difference. This is where destiny has done it right compared to division, where I was level 23 and my group was lvl 30 but all the enemies were at too powerful for me. Which took the fun out of the game for me somewhat.

8 more darkzone levels to go before I can buy the last two bits of high end 31 gear. Two of the most important bits also. Gloves which is the biggest dps boost and the holster. Then it's just mods for my guns. Then fine tuning on rolls.

If you go into activities in Destiny 20%+ under-levelled you're going to have exactly the same problem. The Division just has a bit more meat on the bones to get you to max level....I'm happy enough playing through the the story and side missions at the moment, it's a much, much better SP game than Destiny has ever been.

Well the Bullet King farm sort of kills this a bit...

Does it though, I mean the game in it's nature is a grindy/farmy game. Bullet King is just the most efficient, albeit boring. It's Destiny's loot cave!

Also PxC have a life span, eventually you'll buy all the schematics then it becomes a case of Division Tech HE mats being the bottle neck (and other mats to a lesser extent). It's more efficient to keep crafting then using PxC to reroll too, as the prices get ridiculous, costing over 800 PxC the more you do it! I think I even read it got as high as 1300 for one guy, funny considering the cap is 1000.

The end game economy needs a rework for sure, they've said their will be an update this week, interested to see what it'll be.

The same in what way ? that they're all human ? Yeah because when playing counter strike or Rainbow Six Siege that's exactly what I think. If only some of my enemies were mutants .....

No.. Just no.

I like the setting, it doesn't stick slavishly to realism gameplay-wise at all...it's a quite odd setup but it works.

Level 14 I think now...going to keep plodding through.

Got to level 30 at the weekend and have been grinding a bit. Crafted my vector (crit/armor piercing and skill duration extension, happy with the first 2, 3rd isn't great).

Anyway, I'm sitting on about 95k dps and 60k health. Am i ready to jump into challenge mode? If not, what should I be doing to get some more HE gear? Dark Zone and hope for the best? Currently on 150% scavenging.

Did two challenge missions (Lincoln Tunnels and Lexington Event Centre) with a group of Americans Saturday night. We were all level 30 but had rubbish gear, no golds and just basic purple items. My stats when we did it were 45k DPS, 50k health, same for the other guys thereabouts. Took 4 hours to do 2 missions (with a 15 minute break during one), was so difficult but was the most fun I've had playing a game in years.

Constant laughs and just so hard but satisfying because we done it.

Now I have quite a few gold items and fairly decently specced.

Absolutely love this game

I agree with the criticism of being split off from your friends due to them being a much higher level, it kills any social apect of the game other than being in a party chat together.

Just got proper abused for the first time....

Joined a DZ group. Two guys kicked the 4 member killed him. We all went rogue kicked me the. Killed me as rogue. Lost over a level in DZ rank...
