People have got used to camping in the tunnel that they think its the best tactic to use now in all them which is wrong.
That caught me out in the run I did last night. I am used to pushing right up to the entrance using the CC / burn down technique (basically stun the enemy to prevent them from advancing and just unload everything into them).
The two guys I was running with didn't push forward which meant I was running for my life back down the tunnel with three melee dudes in tow (I can go one to one in challenge mode but not 3v1). Did it in the end but damn it was harder than it needed to be!
The highlight of the evening was the stupidly quick (Hard mode) Russian Consulate run I did with 3 other randoms. At no point did any of us use cover. We just steam rolled everything (flashbang sticky + stickybombs + flame turret + pulse = fun). It felt so good watching the lightning dudes melt to focused fire.
I got sod all for my troubles (materials basically) but I just love runs like that.
I did however get a very nice Scar-L (The assault rifle one) as a drop from a level 32 mob in the DZ. Rolled with high per bullet damage (nearly 9000!... jokes aplenty...
), 16% destructive and 20% Brutal. With my mods attached it isn't stupidly high DPS (only around 112k) but has similar critical chance as my AUG SMG and hits harder at all ranges.
