You know, we're in with a real shot at hitting £1.5M tomorrow...currently at £1.382M, and today has been bigger than yesterday, which I didn't think would happen!

On top of that Frontier have their PayPal pledges, which can be contributed towards stretch goals, so there's a good chance IMO.

First played Elite in 1984 on a BBC, but skipped Frontier altogether. Currently sitting at the Alpha test pledge level, plus a few other things like the mug. Also pledged a decent amount to the books, including a Revenge Killing in Kate Russell's book

Hope we clear the £1.5m goal clearly, not sure I could go any further.

Damn you to hell Mr. Braben! I've just upgraded to £90 - but that is it!
I have to stop now.
Maybe I should email him and mention the fact that about 15 years ago when I was working for Evesham Micros in Cambridge I actually sold him a PC and then some software at a later date.
I recognised his name (computer geek remember) but nobody else knew who he was. We had a short chat. Maybe he should give me more stuff for free!

Hmm, not pledging any money (by the looks of it I won't have to) but this game just HAS to be online multiplayer in a persistent universe, perhaps only server based but I can;t see this working as a single player experience anymore.

£20 pledge = Reserve a digital copy of the game
£25 pledge = Download a single copy of the game

Why do they make a distinction between the two there? "Reserve" sounds like you don't actually get the game, just a guarantee of being able to buy it, stupid as it is when it's a digital product.

£25 rewarded was only added the other day, just didnt use the same terms as the original pledges.
Just look at the £30 and above pledges.

So not silly at all, you get the game.

According to some people at Frontier they are £89k away from the 10 ships... I have put a little more into the kitty but cant do any more or the misses would kill me...
