Cheers for the reply's.
I've been working on "can I be arsed" to go check them out.
I've not found as many undiscovered as I though I might to be honest but I am putting that down to the areas I have been visiting being in and around nebula. 3500ly out now heading for Thors Helmet where I expect to find more discovered stuff but hopefully have a lovely view.
Had a seriously close call last night!
Was heading back to George Lucas for repairs and ammo with only 45% hull integrity after a titanic battle with an anaconda when a cmdr interdicted me.
I put all pips to engine and tried to run but he took out my shields and shredded my hull down to 4%. My thrusters and flight assist went down and I spun helplessly out of control. As multi cannon fire rained around me with my canopy gone and oxygen failing I was just waiting for the killer blow and my 200k in bounties to go up in smoke.
But for some reason he couldn't quite finish me off. Maybe it was my ship spinning out of control, I don't know. But then my engines came back online, I put all pips to thrusters and managed to put some distance between us.
Finally my frame shift drive kicked in and I escaped intact! Managed to dock and repair with a huge sigh of relief.
It's moments like this that really make this game great![]()
I disagree, I think it's a great move and should have been in from the start, being able to swap modules at no cost at any time was daft. You do know that you have a ten minute window to play with stuff before the 10% loss kicks in though right?
No it should not, it takes away all individual experimentation and EVERYONE will be running cookie cutter loadouts. Unless profits are significantly increased to offset it then people will leave the game in droves.
10 min window is pathetic in its own right i wont even go into how ludicrous this even is.
