Aaand it's over at £1,578,226, with apparantly £25000 paypal on top of that.

Looking back, I definatly didn't expect that. What an achievement.

I think it's safe to say that there should be enough people on the severs when it goes live :)
 
Dear Frontier Developments, your website is clearly experiencing significantly more traffic than usual, and as a consequence it's flippin' slow!

Pleasre buy more bandwidth and a bigger server :)

It's £1,578,316 and 25681 people :)

/edit...keeps increasing by the odd pledge presumably stuck in the system

So the first £1mil is going to spent on all the pledge rewards (t-shirts, mugs, models, maps etc...), the admin fees and staff to handle it for 35,679 people. With the remaining £500k spent on game development.

What if they get other commercial backing now. Did they ever say they wouldn't ?

It's alright, he'll just use procedural accounting and get a lot more done than you'd expect for an account of that size!

Yeah, just goes to show how much people want it. It's nice that we now have an option for game devs who reckon people want their games but that the publishers would stand in the way.
 
In which case I'm a cheap skate. But more projects and more things to buy.

Now where can we download it :p


How are we going to survive the next 15months.
