*** The Official Elite: Dangerous Thread ***

For research purposes and just to make sure Stelly is doing it right, I would also like to know this exploit.

Especially since my friend...let's call him Bevrij aka Bejeeri said he would give me his Conda and about 30 million in credits but then went back on his word.

What kind of friend would do this to me, especially on my birthday and right after my dog died.:(

There is no exploit that allows that, ive not played the game for almost 12 months and totally out of sync with game at the moment but i know that kind of BS cannot be done. Guy was winding you up mate, pulling your leg.:D

*facepalm* I genuinely didn't think people would take my post seriously :p

now on my way to draconis 17 with a 4c fuel tank and scoop lol with class 4a jump drive. tbh i dont think i need the extra tank with a fuel scoop do i?

only 25 jumps lol but my budget is soo tight. i can afford to die twice

oh and i sold my keelback for a viper iv and upgraded some stuff to A class with the profit. only got a mil left

edit. and draconis is in boom :D

Yep got to that point.

Decided to quit playing. So on average 8 months out of the game gives you approx 5 weeks of game time when you are back. ( a week of that is setting up the controls again)

Elite is Boring

Sorry if you've mentioned it but what happened?
When Engineers first came out there were a couple of bugs. I went out in my fully kitted Python and Vulture, into the High RES where I was used to taking down Anacondas solo... I was saving up for a Federal Corvette, I think.

Suddenly I was getting my backside handed to me by all and sundry, for several reasons:

- I hadn't played in about a month and was slightly rusty.
- The Vulture and Python had been nerfed a bit, whether it was kit or just in general, I don't know, but the Python has since been surpassed as a combat vessel by the Fer de Lance.
- Small ships were able to gang up on me better.
- The bugged NPCs were fully decked out with Engineer mods, but were also carrying things like Plasma Accelerators that fired continuously as if they were Beam Lasers. I got utterly ganked.

That and more led to a series of losses, with rebuys costing me 8 figures each time. Racks up quite quickly.

- I eventually went trading in my Type 9 to get some more cash up, but got interdicted, lost the cargo, lost the ship, just about managed the one rebuy and had to start again with less than 100,000 Cr. Might even have been less than 10,000...
Boom Time deliveries at a few grand apiece were the order of the day, along with some planet-side recovery missions. I sold the Type 9 and Vulture to buy a Fer de Lance and am working to kit that out for combat, but I've not taken on anything bigger than myself for a while, now... not even in interdictions.

Just when I felt was getting good at the game...!!!

all these people talking about 50mil an hour and upwards... i struggle to keep my balance above 10 million.... i love the game but i have no idea what im doing haha

i think im about to give up, its become tedious very quickly :'(

having a noob rage over the fact bounties can only make a mil an hour at most unless you die!

You've not heard about the raft of exploits in the 12 months that you haven't been playing then. Don't assume the game is the same as it was 12 months ago it has changed quite a lot and so have the bugs / exploits.

And yes some commanders were making around 200M credits an hour on the 17 draconis exploit.

Must be a lot of new Anaconda pilots flying around now...

Unless you want to "cheat" I would carry on playing the game the why you are. Most of the get rich quick schemes involve exploiting poor game mechanics.
