How does Elite Dangerous run on AMD cards? I need a new GPU and I’m considering one of the new AMD Radeon 9070 cards ?

Worth considering for Elite or should I stick with Nvidia?

I don't think I've ever seen much issue with them, maybe something in the early days of Horizons but nothing recent that I can recall.

I am so far away from colonisation its barely worth asking but can I build them in solo mode and it just means that other players can find it if they are playing open?
I finally got my left joystick yesterday so I binded some of the simple stuff but I actually don't know how to play the game properly yet lol.

Yes, exactly that, though unless you have a decent size hauler it'll be a long slog.

I've just taken my X56 Rhino stick apart to try and solve the binding issues with it, internals completely dry of any lube whatsoever, health amount of silicone grease added, we shall see if it makes much difference, I really want that Moza FFB stick lol...

@Dano Is elite the only flying game you play? Because if so I don't think the moza has a profile for elite so you won't actually get any fb from it

No, IL2 GB, DCS and FS2020 are the others I play too.

if you do it solo and are not hugely dedicated you will probably be ok with starting with an orbital platform.

you get 4 weeks to build it and see looking at around 1500-20000 tons of goods. perfectly doable .

once that platform is built in the 4 weeks the system is yours and anything else can be done in your own time.
