Any1 happen to be a member of a decent merc corp/pirate corp? who happen to be recruiting.

Im sorta looking for a new corp with a diffrent style of play than im used to :) . Wouldnt mind a home in 0.0 if any big alliances are recruiting, i was asked to join FIX but dunno if i want to.

I was thinking Veto. If they would accept me.

Also what does the OCUK corp do?

Ingame name is Jongo Fett (dont laugh its only cos Jongo wasnt available)

I have 13.5mil sp the vast majority been in pvp skills.

I can fly All races frigs amarr caldari and gallante cruisers.

I mostly specialise in gallante ships. I can fly Gallante HACs,Recons,Covert ops, intercepters, assault frigs, Battelships,Battlecruisers. I also fly caldari AF's and intercepters. Can use t2 small and medium hybrid guns and beggining to work on T2 heavy drones. (can already use light and mediums)

Being a merc, a pirate or joining a 0.0 alliance are 3 totally different game paths that only blend together under a very few corps names. Some pirate corps will take merc contracts but given the negative security status of most of their members their ability to fight in empire wars is...non existent.

There are pirate corps that operate in 0.0, but the only pirate corp that I can think of that has an active long term presence in 0.0 are the Sudden Death squad. Most other 0.0 pirates hug the first gate back into empire or roam only as far as the first NPCers.

If you want to be a merc and hold 0.0 space you'd need to join the MC..and if you need to ask here for recruitment you wouldnt get in there.

Euphoria Released have empire and 0.0 wars, and given the right price they would probably take a contract but then their recruitment requirements extend to large t2 guns and you would probably need a reference too.

The collective are an active 0.0 corp that seem to be getting a lot of targets, I would imagine your skillpoints are sufficient for them to take interest, but they too may require a reference.

Hybrid Syndicate have empire wars and pirate until sec status reaches about -1.9, if you want to join though you would need to pass recruitment like anyone else.

I've been ratting in low sec (0.2/0.3), which is fine, but is there any 0.0 space where the local corp tolerates solo ratting (tried ratting in Syndicate but it just seems to be a quick way of getting a new clone!).

Head to the system, "Mamet", ask to join the local anti-pirate channel, and the surrounding 0.0 space will be available to you to do what you want in.

CVA have a station in 0.0 2 jumps away from Mamet, and you will be allowed to dock there for a small docking fee each time.

Just beware, LV (Lotka Voltera) has a liking for raiding in and out of that area occassionally and I think .-A-. (Against ALL Authorities) has taken a dislike to CVA as well.....so you might have a bit of a fun time hiding from raids every so often.

The local NPC's are Sanshas, so tank up EM/Therm.

Im looking for a half decent guide on Trading/Mining, could anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, have you found Eve to be a bit sucky today?
 
yer servers been crashing a bit :( on the plus side the dragon code is been implemented soon :D

The 4557 client is pretty much just the unicode version of the 3913 client, a few cosmetic changes here and there (Tutorial on Neocom, buttons are different style, market screen has been tidied up), the German translation is in, support for other languages will be much easier with Dragon.

In terms of the game as a whole 4557 represents bug fixes comited since the 3913 client, removal of obsolete code and the missions that rely on said obselete code.

In Summary: Dragon is a house cleaning excercise in preparation for Kali.
 
I've re-activated my account and started up with my character Karodaz. I've got a Merlin at the moment but will be buying an Osprey when I get the Caldari Cruiser skill as I meet the other requirements. Also got about 4.5 mil ISK for extra bits though not sure if I'll keep the Merlin or not.
 
Right, just installed the latest Singularity code, but it's not letting me on...

Giving me "Status: Unknown" and then not connecting... And the EVE site's down, so no help there >.<

Any ideas?

Last thing, I take it Sisi = Singularity?

Edit: TQ's doing it now, too. Presume they're both down.

What I don't like is that when it goes down, so does the site, and you're left dead in the water :(
