Short version:

BNC director with a director character in the alliance executor corp defects to goons, disbanding the alliance on his way out. This means all sovereignty for BoB is gone for 24hrs and reset to nothing once they reformed an alliance. Goons/NC/PL/etc all descend on BoB's space and pretty much conquer the whole lot. BoB (though now under a different alliance name) hold out for another month or two with a couple of stations in Querious but after a number of failed offensives they call it a day and the corps go their separate ways.

i have just come back to the game after a break of about 5 months. quite a few things have changed. lol@ Stealth bombers finally getting some loving.

anyhow. anyone doing anything cool in game or looking for recruits hook me up.

iirc i have around 35m sp. been a pirate most of my life so pew pew comes naturally still fixing my sec status up at the moment to easy back into the game.


xyphox: only corp i know of from the top of my head is UK1. look em up in game m8. not a clue what they do these days tho.

Man I'm getting bored of grinding my sec status back up, from -9.8 It has taken me several weeks of a few hours a day and 10,000 missiles to get to -5.35 sigh. And that's going from system to system to system finding the highest value BS in each system.

It's a shame they fixed the bug where the 750k Battleships gave a huge security increase.

I'm a director in a small 6 man corp...PvP freaks War Decs and WH. We've flown together for 2 yrs. Me, the CEO and the other director have flown together since 05.

Love to fight outnumbered and solo Were all english.

What corps/alliance are people in here? Im in IRC alliance, currently evacing from drone regions due to stupidly thinking driving RA out would be fine and Goons wouldnt notice

It's a shame they fixed the bug where the 750k Battleships gave a huge security increase.

Indeed My only gripe is that I didn't kill that many players, probably a dozen ships and I was down to -9.8 my main chunk of sec hit was from remote repping, now I agree I should have been hit, but the amount is slight disproportionate imo.

I don't know how many BS I have killed going from -9.8 to -4.8 but I've made nearly 200 million in bounties alone.

However, my beloved pirate corp has disbanded meaning my characters are homeless!

Seems really weird to be playing again, I feel like a complete noob all over again!

Can you still get GTC for ISK and what are the current prices and best place of getting them from?

Yep. On the eve official forums, there is a section for buying and selling GTC's. Going for around 600-700m ISK atm, fluctuates though, were as high as 850m 2 weeks ago.

Is evemon still the tool of choice for ship setups and skill traning?

are there any tools out there for trading? I always struggled with finding decent sellers and buyers and figuring the route out between them. A little app where you enter the 2 locations and it tells you how many jumps and their sec status would be great!

Evemon I use for skill queues and seeing how my chars training is coming along. For fitting I use Eve Fitting Tool - quick google should sort that out, I cant access it cos im at work Lets you import char details and see what you can fly, or use lvl 5 skills, then export the skills required to fly that fit to Eve Mon so you can plan ahead.

As for the tool for trading, Im afraid I can be on no assistance, I just use my ingame map and autopilot for planning trips, Im sure there is one out there mind you. CCP have also released market analysis, check on the eve forums for details of it.

You can also buy PLEX in-game on the market. These are 30-day extention items, you have to use them in-game. But since its all done in-game rather than on the forums, its much quicker. Expect to do a fair ammount of flying between regions if you're looking for the best price, though!

Found a corp very similar to my old one but they want an API for each character and their user name, however, it appears that eveonline is down. Anyway of getting the API without it?

i'm on a mission called "making mountains out of molehills" and i'm supposed to mine some veldspar and destroy rogue drones ,the mining is done but i can't find the drones anywhere ?

I can't see that particular mission on this website that I use for missioning. Sometimes there are acceleration gates that take you to new areas (pockets) a bit like further levels of the mission, one of those about?

Easily done. When you accept a mission you should see the details in your journal. If you go to the system in which the mission has been assigned, then right click in space it will give you a location to directly warp to. Not sure if you knew that already but thought I'd tell you in case.

I need a decent manticore setup for PvP?

Did a search online and they all seem to suggest:

3xCruise & 1xImp Cloak
1xsensor damp, 2xsensor boost & 1xrandom
2xBallistic control units

However, as soon as I try and fit a Cruise launcher I get an insufficient power warning?

Any suggestions?
