ZOMBIE ZOMBIE ZOMBIE!!

Just watched - cracking card - some very good fights - Cerrone should have finished that fight instead of dancing around the cage like a muppet.

Got to love the zombie - always puts everything into finishing the fight and that was a belter!

good card and event, yeah cerrony did well just went back to having fun really he said he wants a rematch with diaz but thx to that lovely "edgar" issue bottleneck its all on hold.

Was wondering wtf happen to pettis but hes out till September with his shoulder operation... and edgar is out since his nose is broken lol talk about bottleneck

anyhow Kz did well, I felt kz talk of his improvement was overblown but we did not get to see it against mark... so it left a ? on that fight, dustin needs a few more fights and years under his belt and I think he will be more then ready afterwards.

Aldos ground game is meant to be amazing but we have never seen it ! kz always has a chance and hes a tricky sob as we now see its gonna be very tricky to submit or own the kz on the ground, and will aldos leg kicks be enough against a zombie.... interesting fight at this point.

Surprised nobody has commented on last nights Strike Force.

Was a good show.. some really good fights and I was very impressed with DC.. could have a big future in the HW division :)

Cormier is an absolute beast, with his skillset I'd pick him over any heavyweight in the UFC.

It was a solid event, good mix of quick entertaining finishes and absolute wars.

yup dc is amazing, jb broke his hand and so did dc in the 1st round but guess dc was just a total warrior.

Looks like we will have to wait another 8-12 months for both guys hands to heal before seeing them in action be it ufc or bellator.

Anyone else miss Pride?

UFC is better in my opinion as I just like watching it a lot more and the cage is better than a ring but still, I miss the rules. It was a lot more brutal, which obviously, anyone who likes MMA will love!

Pride favoured strikers more due to the rules, but both have had some amazing fights over the years, can't say I prefer one over the other, they both have good points and bad points.

i prefer fights in the cage as there are no stupid stand ups and moving to the centre of the ring due to the ropes and stuff, it's much more fluid.

I do train, not as much as I used to mind.

I have been training at uni since October, dropped three stone, four inches around the waist and so and so much fitter. Going to continue when I graduate, found a club back home in Epsom to train at. Currently at 210lbs, want to drop to 185.

So, UFC 146 is only 5 days away, does everyone think JDS is going to walk it against Mir or could there be a surprise? It'll be interesting to see if Mir can do what nobody else seems to have been able to do and get JDS down and keep him down.

Also, the card for UFC 148 looks amazing, I'm already looking forward to that event!

JDS will walk through Mir. Mir can't take a punch and is hella slow on the feet, watch his fight with CroCop and 2nd Nog fight to see how useless his stand up really is.

If Carwin couldn't take down JDS or strike with him how the heck can you expect Mir to, Mir was destroyed by Carwin.

Not so sure to be honest - Mir seems to struggle the most with the bigger guys in the division (Lesnar & Carwin) and JDS is hardly the biggest!

Don't get me wrong, I'd expect JDS to win but if Mir takes it I won't be that surprised!

Mir has no take down skill whatsoever, if wrestlers can't take and hold JDS down, Mir won't be able to.

I see a quick knock out for JDS.

That's not to say Mir isn't capable of winning, he has KO power and obviously great submissions, he is more than capable of pulling off the win, but I don't think he will.

the issue is the frank mir that matched up against big nog the 2nd time was a lot more different he came in more heavier so I felt he would be more slower but better at grappling and power and heavy strikes, when he thought big nog 1st time round he was a lot more lighter and faster with better footwork and jabs and punches a lot faster and better.

I think mirs been dabling with weight, he only put on that weight to match against the likes of brock/carwin, but hes gonna come more lighter he said he wants to be a lot more faster and better strikes, but he has openly said if it hits the floor hes gonna break something off :)

Still see Jds with better speed, cardio and striking and hes gonna run away from mir if he gets close or in a clinch with his footwork. Apparently the bookies are giving good odds on jds knockout or within round 1 and mir by sub :)

The problem with Frank Mir is that he cannot handle getting hit. Big Nog had him in all sorts of trouble, JDS is going to put him to sleep in the first, easily.

Any thoughts on Hunto vs Struve?

hunt? mark hunt got hurt weeks ago...

Levar johnson is stepping up and faces struve this saturday....

Question is will it be terminator mode again or as I call it "Carwin mode" :)

Mir's a BAMF but sadly I don't see it ending too well, then again, what the **** do I know.

Hoping for a war and another good card. Hardy grabbing a W wouldn't be too shabby either.
