Will be interesting to see how good JDS's BJJ is, he trains with the Nog's so I assume it will be pretty good being he is a brown belt.

Can't wait to see the fight.

An I don't mind who wins it, just going to sit back and enjoy.

I agree that he isn't going to set the UFC alight, but saying he can't take a hit because he got KO'd by Smith is a load of rubbish.

Smith has very heavy hands, he has 17 wins and 14 of those are by knockout.

I actually think he will beat Wand, he has much more technical striking and KO power of his own, 7 MMA wins 7 KO's.

Wand is a shadow of his former self these days, in his prime it wouldn't even have been a contest.

Shamrock got his arm broken with one of these flashy good looking kicks ;)

Smith was KO'd with a spin kick to the liver, and the same for Sammy Morgan.

The others were all punches I believe.

They both have the ability to finish each other that's for sure, I just think Wandys time is up.

Nobody likes being hit in reality.

But saying Overeem doesn't like being hit is a bit silly, he competed in K1, a sport where being hit is inevitable. If he really didn't like being hit he wouldn't have bothered.

Brock literally ducks his head and shys away when he is being hit, I've never seen Reem cowering away from an exchange.

He literally ran away from Kharitonov but that was around 2008 if I recall correctly. Or might have been the first time they fought, really can't remember too well.

Was the 2nd time they fought, he was rocked and ran across the ring and then got tko'd.

He doesn't cower in every exchange is the point, Kharitonov rocked him hard a bunch of times before that.

Just re watched the fight, can't believe how small he looks compared to now.

Overeem wasn't scared of Werdum's takedowns, Werdum was flopping to his ass whenever they came to exchange so he couldn't do much.

Yes Werdum probably would have subbed him if he had taken him down, but Werdum hasn't really got any takedowns and his butt flopping failed completely.

I do agree Lesnar is a dangerous fight for Overeem though, he is dangerous for anyone due to his size and wrestling.

Interested to see how it pans out.

From everything that I've read, Dana is releived that it wasnt on the Fox card. Fox is all about introducing new viewers to MMA, and he feels that such a brutal bout of that might have been too much for the casual fan. Hardcore fans like us appreciate it, even love it, but can you imagine somebody letting their 16 year old watch it for the first time... it was brutal.

This is the reason the UFC is never really going to get that much bigger than it currently is, it's a niche sport.

He won't do anything like that. When has the UFC ever allowed anything like that?

They have always said it is to much like wrestling having big elaborate entrances with fireworks and what not.

Some of the entrances in Pride were amazing :(
