I hear Vitor had a broken hand going into the fight.

Bispings fight was closer than i thought it would be, he got cracked and turned into a wrestler.

Props to Belfort, best showing yet, even better than Machida. I love how we are actually forced to be so pedantic as to who won a round or two against Jones because he's that good. :p

The Flyweight was dodgey, great fight but two 5"3 guys is ridiculous with their tiny bodies and massive heads, it looked like two actual midgets fighting. Not trying to be offensive at all as it certainly was something special, everytime Demetrius moved I thought it started fast forwarding. :p

Makes a change seeing such high levels of technique though, even the Bantamweights get a little sloppy from time to time, those guys didn't.

Bisping #2 Middleweight in the world right now IMO. People earlier in the thread said he sucks... lol.

Oh man, that armbar looked so tight I was literally jumping around the front room! Damn shame Jones didn't tap, would have been the biggest upset since Serra Vs GSP.

A good night of fights I thought.

Vitor was close in that first round although even after that I don't think pulling guard was the best game plan.

Jones doesn't seem to know what to do when fighters aggressively push forward (saw it with Vitor). He doesn't circle at all, he just runs backwards. Fighters are just too scared to commit when fighting him.

Did anyone else notice the ref really was on Jones back about putting his open hands in his opponent face?

He really did it a lot vs Rampage just stopped any forward motion.

and rightly so. one of the many little things he does that is a crappy way to fight.

...great fighter though

Will Bisping get the winner of Silva/Bonnar or will he have to go through Weidman first?

Silva's management have said they see no up side in fighting Weidman so I wouldn't be surprised to see Bisping get the next MW title shot! (btw, Bonnar won't become the MW champ if he beats Silva - it's a LHW bout - ie. non-title)

100% agree - I know Vitor almost pulled off a win with the armbar in the 1st but Rogan was spot on questioning him pulling guard with a slippery opponent - all that meant was he got Jones' elbow in his chops a few extra times!

Shame about vitor but it was still a joy to see him get closest to getting the better of bones !

Id like to see bisping fight him and be another spider victim, when he looses he will go down that ladder next to chael lol

Weidman still has to consider Tim Boetsch this december.... no doubt the winner of that could be in line next for spider, but id love to see the spider more active and fight bisping in december also....

He will retire after Bonnar beats him :D ;)

I don't know why but I can feel an upset on the cards. He has never been submitted. Never been knocked out and the only times he has been TKO'd is due to cuts. He's also a fairly big guy, it is always hard fighting someone who is naturally about 20lbs heavier than you. It will test Anderson.

The best thing Bonnar has going for him is he has nothing to lose from this fight, he'll just go in swinging and try to have a war with Anderson, as long as he doesn't do as bad as Forrest did it'll be a result for him :p

Just got in to an envelope on the counter, containing an early birthday present from the missus.

WOOOOOOO!

I don't know to be honest Rusty, tried to find the seat on the plan but it's not labelled.

Truth be told I don't care if the seat's a deckchair in the corner ;)
