Just watching UFN.. Silva proves once again he's a complete douche by missing weight, but Hamill, my god, get worse cardio.

Just been watching the UFC166 primetime series.

Junior seems caught up in the fact he KO'ed Cain in a minute, whereas Cain couldn't finish in 25 minutes. But what shows the better overall fighter, a flash KO or literal dominance for 5 rounds? Apparently he 'over trained' for the fight, well, all I know is he was blowing out of his ass after 5 minutes last time out and it'll be the same this time.

Apparently Cain hits like a girl as well.... funny, because that girl hit put you on your ass Junior. Girl hits don't make your face look like burger meat either :p

Cain via domination again.

Cain Velasquez vs Junior dos Santos
Daniel Cormier vs. Roy Nelson
Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shawn Jordan
John Dodson vs. Darrell Montague

Tim Boetsch vs. C.B. Dollaway
Nate Marquardt vs. Hector Lombard
Sarah Kaufman vs. Jessica Eye
George Sotiropoulos vs. KJ Noons

TJ Waldburger vs. Adlan Amagov
Tony Ferguson vs. Mike Rio
Jeremy Larsen vs. Andre Fili
Dustin Pague vs. Kyoji Horiguchi

The reason JDS KO'd Cain had more to do with where the punch landed rather than how cleanly or powerful it was. It was behind the ear and towards the back of the head which really screws your equilibrium.

You only have to watch Cain vs Cheick Kongo to see that Cain does have a great chin.

It's not going to be the same steam roller destruction as last time but I still think Cain will win by decision again.

Jordan over gonzaga? Not watched much Jordan seems interesting. Everything else I agree wit.

Just lookin at the line up, seems strike force at heavily featured

Read this on Bisping's twitter a little while ago:

michael ********@bisping
So just read that marquadt says the he lost 2 in a row because god was punishing him??? Wow, how about the other guy was just better?

I have a feeling that god isn't done punishing him yet :p

Seriously though I'm not opposed to people believing in whatever deity they want, but when they start acting as though their chosen god is taking a direct hand in determining the outcome of their fights I have to believe that they're not firing on all cylinders.

Chael P. Sonnen summed up my thoughts on this pretty well:

These guys are fist fighting in a steel cage for a paycheck and the applause of a drunken audience. Don't pretend to be something you're not. And don't bring up God. As a devout Catholic I'm tremendously offended when somebody acts as though God is playing a hand in a fistfight on Saturday night. Newsflash people: God has better things to do.

Even funnier when guys like Vitor harp on about god and how he helped him win.
God must be a new name for 'supplements'

I love the danger element Palhares brings to the cage, kinda like hendricks with his power, but he's pulled this **** before and deserved to be released.

Mike had tapped, yelped in pain and tapped again, the ref intervened and still he didn't let go.

It takes milliseconds to tear a knee apart with that lock, Palhares knows this and held it anyway.

Palhares is kinda that guy that needs to win and also make sure he has Won the fight, otherwise he may just jump on the fence and fist in air in fake glory again :D

Its a shame hes cut... real big shame I am still unsure what exactly caused the cut but many other fighters have punched or hanged on when even told to let go.

Bisping is awesome, when he's injured his mouth does the fighting for him :)

I would love to see him get back in there and face some tough guys, plenty of fights left him him and no one should dimiss nate off quickly guy can knock out anyone if he wants.

The card is awesome still and will enjoy it!

On paper this is the best card in ages - any idea where I can catch the prelims? Are they doing faceboom prelims like they sometimes do?

^^ you not on BT? :( they are showing the whole lot, 1am-6am.
7/4 JDS 1/2 Cain, i think il agree with the bookies on this one

i ended falling asleep after the CB - Tim fight.. and woke up just just as the winner between Cain - JDS was announced, il catch the re-run of it thisevening

My god at that Diego & Melendez fight!

Was it just me that thought Diego sounded mega punch drunk in the post fight interview?

Great night of fights really enjoyed that card.

Still would have given the win to Dollaway even with the point deduction, thought he won all three.

You've got to worry about JDS's health after the last two Cain fights, he has taken an absolutely brutal beating in both of them. I think he needs to rest up for at least 6 months before he even thinks about fighting again.

Yeah Cain dominated it really.... I think joe is right jds will most likely beat anyone else.

I think Werdum has to get the next shot... guys jitz skills are perhaps the best if not top in the heavyweight class and he maybe the one sticking to cain like glue giving him hell and his knees and clinch work and grappling has improved as we saw.

Not sure who JDS faces next, but id like to see him face Travis brown/Bigfoot.... but he needs another 2-3 fights at least to get another shot imo even then what can JDS do is beyond me.. drop more pounds and submission attempts non stop ?!

Still Cains cardio, guy looked fresh going into round 5 which does not even look normal.

Finally Cain stays champ so dc goes after bones, but am glad to see him say he needs to fight bit more before considering bones? I think.

Dollaway was robbed though even 1 point should not have lost him round 1/2. Maybe round 3 only if not even. Even Eye I think it was a close fight could have gone either way really...

Overall great card and event, best for 2013 It wont get topped...

I'd like to see JDS smash the Reem personally!

I really thought Sanchez had it at the end after that uppercut, I jumped out of my seat shouting. It was an amazing fight but I still prefer the first 20 seconds of the Sanchez Guida fight, never has there been nastier mean-mugging in the history of the sport! :)
