tonight was ment to be the finale of 'fight master' but joe rigs got injured...
Riggs was expected to face Mike Bronzoulis this Saturday to kick off Bellator’s ninth season, but that booking has been derailed. According to a report from Sports Illustrated, Riggs suffered a partial orbital bone fracture and a detached retina in training. Riggs told SI that he underwent surgery for the injuries and could be ready to fight as soon as October or November.

Dana has said he wont let BJ fight again*, so this comes as a surprise to me

*he said it in one of those pre fight or post fight scrums that he's done recently, he said BJ is too tough for his own good and has taken too much of a beating.. he wasnt prepaired to give him another fight even though he knew he could make good money from it

A bizarre pairing for me given their history!

Apparently Dana wanted Faber vs Edgar but neither were willing to drop/jump to the other's weight class - strange since a good meal is all that separates the bottom 3 or 4 classes at the moment! :confused:

Absolutely hilarious, I love it when you get some grizzled veteran who comes in thinking they should walk it because they've been in the game so long. Bottom line is, there's a reason why you haven't got the call before! Especially when you're blowing after 5 minutes.

Oh, and Rousey is a grade A Douche, total mental midget. Tate is already in her head by not even doing anything.

Whinging because Tate picked an injured fighter on her side... as if she wouldn't have done the same.

That Shayna woman did make me laugh, before the fight saying she's not fit to breathe the same air as her and then afterwards saying she doesn't understand how she lost as she's 3 times the fighter. Love it when the arrogant ones lose.

Ronda looks to be taking it a little too personally. Why don't her and Tate like each other?
 
It was great to see Pena (as the underdog) get the win over Baszler. The overconfidence from Baszler was a huge weakness, and Rousey should have been telling her not to take anything for granted instead of telling her that it was going to be an easy win.

They've fought before and there was a lot of trash talk. Carraway (Tates other half) has gotten involved as well, slanging matches on twitter and the like.

They seem to give each other grief on a regular basis, definitely no love lost there.
 
man what a fight. Jones lips was a picture. bubba out of forest gump would not have a look in

always thought Gustafsson could beat him but he was getting his shot too soon. But man that was close.



As for TUF well Ronda is just acting like a spoilt little .....

would not mind a bit of a wrestle with Tate ^^
