I'm a huge Wanderlei fan, but I think he let himself down there. All the effort the UFC are going to promoting acceptance of the sport as something other than human cockfighting and two of their bigger names get into a brawl. Poor. Reminds me of the decline that boxing is in.

It is a shame but I've always thought that the UFC were putting themselves in a very difficult position with TUF to be honest - on the one hand they want to promote themselves, rightfully so, as a professional sport but on the other hand the "reality TV" aspect benefits greatly from controversy and excitement (ie. brawls and drunken antics)

The best example is the very first series where the participants were given loads of booze and not really kept in check!

Not the best advert for the sport but I'd argue the most entertaining series to watch!

Other than the title fight I can't say I'm too bothered to be honest - but then again quite often it's the lesser-known figher's on the card that put in the best performances!

Also quite happy to have Arlovski back in the UFC - I know he's had his critics regarding his chin but I think he could still cut it mixing with the top 10 heavyweights in the UFC!

i thought it was an ok fight, champions tend to lose that killer instinct once they have the belt and are just defending it
davis was fed to the wolfs tonight

It would be nice to see the old jones back, as for rumble he looked so much better than his past ufc run cant wait to see him fight again

Glover was tougher that I expected, but the result was pretty much standard.

Only Gus, or DC have anything for Jones at 205.

Some good fights. Rockhold looked very solid and definitely proved himself again.

Jones picked Glover apart. Such an interesting fighting style!

Am I the only one that thinks Jones sticking his hand out to "find this range" is a really dirty tactic?

It was driving me mad.. one slip and he could potentially blind someone..

Exactly what I thought too! He even got warned by the ref that he would get docked a point but kept on doing it!

The guy has "accidentally" eye poked each of his opponents since becoming champ, he's as dirty as they come.

He's using it as a range finder & also obscuring his opponents view. It'd be fine if he did it with a closed fist, as it is though he really should have been deducted points.

Was a boring fight tbh. The only challenges Jones will face is from equally tall/rangy fighters or someone with the strength to bully him around wrestling..

Was an exciting fight from start to finish. Most fighters seem to get a warning with the fingers but Jones gets away with it every fight. To be honest I'd just purposely let myself get poked so he gets a warning or a no contest.

I think its about time someone created a technique to nullify it.. like some form of arm crank applied by grabbing his arm?

Dana White was fairly certain he wants to stop it happening when asked about it at the post fight conference.
