Woah, that really is early.

Not sure if I'm going to stay up just to see Brown get destroyed, would make me sad.

How the bleeding hell did Cummings get a 30-24. That isn't just a massacre, that's a 15 minute mauling. Jesus wept.

Just got in from the pub. Glad to see my four fight accie paid off. Good to see Brown going the distance though. Absolute monster, probably a better champion than Hendricks.

Yeah, that 30-24 and 30-25 are a bit off for me. Cummings was completely dominant, it was his fight from start to finish, he took Kingsbury down at will - but he didn't do a lot with it. He landed 120+ strikes, but few of them were hurtful shots. If you're scoring what he did as a 10-8 round, then GSP would have had a hell of a lot of 10-8 rounds.

Been nearly 24 hours since the event... I'm going to be bold and not use spoiler tags.

Very impressed by Brown hanging in there with Lawler for so long - he is a lot better than I thought, and I love the guy. Managed to hurt Lawler, and came on as strong as he could in the 5th while completely gassed and having an utterly mangled hand. Absolute warrior - talk of Brown vs Diaz as a possible next fight, depending on how busted up his hand is!

All props to Lawler though, aside from one moment didn't look in trouble, fought a smart fight, threw bombs, the Hendricks rematch should be a peach.

Fair play to Brown, he made it more competitive than what I thought he would but realistically bar the 2nd (what the hell was Lawler doing in that round?) Lawler landed the much more damaging strikes, and rightly took a decision.

Rumble looked an absolute beast as expected, I can't believe he used to fight (or not considering he regularly missed weight) @170.

His problem is always going to be when he comes against a solid wrestler who can weather the storm, ala Koscheck.

You say that - I think Rumble might well be over his wrestler problems given the way he handled Phil Davis.

I can't think of many people at 205 who are going to give Rumble trouble - perhaps Rashad would still be able to shut him down, or is he down at 185 for good? Also they're from the same camp are they not?

Would like to see them match him up with GloTex next - that would be a war.

Ah yeah, I forgot he fought Davis, looked pretty good in that fight as well to be fair.

Gus/Cormier/Jones would work him over, and Rashad would give him problems as well. Other than that though, as you say there aren't a lot of challenges out there for him. I think he's already ranked in the top 5, so he's going to have to fight a top guy eventually if he is to get a title shot.

Texeira makes most sense, if not then maybe the winner of Bader/OSP. Shame Manawa isn't ranked higher.

Could very well happen..

Seriously though, easy win for Anderson on paper, if he turns up & if age hasn't caught up with him aaand if injury hasn't took too much of a toll.

Yeah should be a good fight, what are peoples thoughts about the size difference though? Although height and reach isn't a big difference, I wonder if there will be much difference in their weight going into the fight?
