Big Johns not watching the clock, he is watching to make sure Daley didn't get seriously hurt.

If Daley thought it was premature I'm sure he would have been walking round the cage making his point,

Which seems to be the constant theme in MMA, which is a shame. I don't know too much about Pickett but you never know. Most unpredictable 'sport' in the world.

It's a tough call. Even though only a couple of shots hit him, Daley just wasn't defending himself intelligently. He looks out of it, he's just waving his arms about. Given the amount of time it took him to be able to stand after that, the second round would have lasted about 10 seconds. He looked unsteady on his feet for a long time.
 
Early rumours are suggesting Nick Diaz vs GSP !

If Dana doesnt make it happen Diaz will go to pro boxing this fall....

I dont see the superfight happening just yet and yeah GSP needs to simply mop up Diaz before he can move on its just one more name on the to do list imo, lets hope it happens!
 
Once he fights Diaz, there really isn't any match in the current UFC WW division that is interesting for him.

He has beaten everyone he has faced convincingly, it's unfortunate for GSP really, it's not his fault the UFC can't find anyone out there to compete with him.

Yet he will eventually be forced up in weight, when he is too small for MW to fight ANderson who is not only a huge MW but also probably p4p the best fighter on the planet.

Only thing going for him, is he has definitely got the perfect style to beat Silva, still not sure he could do it though.
 
Quite true he was.... and then I think he just fell off the list, same applies to fedor....

If that happens to GSP or Silva, do they also fall from top 10 list ?

Just goes to show you the p4p list can make no sense.... heck dont see nick diaz or jake shields on that list :)
 
Looks like Nick Diaz has actually signed to fight Jeff Lacey. I can see some similarity between Calzaghe and Diaz, don't know if the fight will go the same way though...
 
hasnt been signed though.... personaly I think Diaz is just bluffing hes talking a lot about going a different path and outside of mma if he doesnt get what he wants...

And obviously this is not at all what UFC/Strikeforce want to hear, hes put them in a position where they have no choice but to give him what he wants.... and thats gsp.

Since gsp defeated Diazs boy shields from his camp, its sort of left him as the next best hope, lets hope the fight happens in the next 3-6 months.



Diaz is proberly the only one that can take on GSPs fight and win

What are your thoughts on Twins, Fairtex and Sandee as brands?

I'm looking to buy some new gloves but can't decide which to go for.
 
Yeah its put a real stinker on the event now... while im a mir fan and its good to see rampage again, its nice too have some other big names... feels like it needs some top wec names to make the fights more interesting.

Rampage needs more then slams, he needs to go against a top name like shogun/rashad before trying to go for gold...

Really need some strikeforce decent card right about now...
