An Kongo just knocked out his mate, so sets up the fight perfectly.

I also didn't like Meathead, he is growing on me and seems to be improving every fight. He does get tagged a lot though, but seems to have a chin to take it so far.

If not Kongo maybe Travis Browne, he folded up Struve like a deck chair with that punch last fight, that would be interesting too :)

I personally think Kongo would be a step too far for Meathead at this stage. He still seemed pretty green in his fight a few nights ago.

I'd imagine Dana and Joe want to keep building him slowly but surely, as he is a fairly big draw coming from TUF and undefeated.

"I'm a professional athlete in a sport rife with people who know steroids inside and out, quick, somebody tell me the clumsiest, stupidest way to ruin my career. I'm Nate Marquardt and there's no time to waste."

seems to me the guy is an idiot, good riddance.

On November 30, 2003, Marquardt was involved in a brief altercation with middleweight opponent Ricardo Almeida in a Pancrase title fight. Marquardt, who was caught in a guillotine choke, tapped out; The referee, however, was unable to immediately separate the fighters, and the choke remained applied around Marquardt's neck. After he was freed, Marquardt threw a strike at Almeida's face, prompting both corners to storm into the ring – including Renzo Gracie. Renzo was cornering Almeida, and once in the ring he kicked Marquardt in the face.

Although his debut ended in success – Marquardt earned a decision victory over UFC veteran Ivan Salaverry – post-fight drug testing controversy led to Marquardt's suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Marquardt tested positive for high levels of nandrolone, an anabolic steroid, which led the commission to file for his suspension. Marquardt maintains that he only used over-the-counter supplements in preparation for his fight. Marquardt was initially suspended for six months and assessed no fine.[15] Marquardt's suspension was reduced to five months and he was reinstated in January 2006.[16]

On June 28 2011 Nate appeared on MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and stated that in August 2010 he felt tired and moody and his doctor discovered he had low testosterone levels. That doctor put Nate on hormone replacement therapy and when Nate applied for a Theraputic Use Exemption with the New Jersey state commission, they allowed it but declared that he must go off the therapy for ten weeks, then have his levels retested by a specialist to determine if he really needs to be on the therapy or not. At the end of that period, both the specialist and Nate's primary doctor agreed his levels really were low and he was a candidate for replacement therapy. Nate's primary doctor injected him with testosterone to quickly get his levels back up in time for his scheduled fight against Rick Story. The Pennsylvania commission had set standards for what his testosterone levels could be at fight time and Nate's levels, though trending down over the last week before the fight, still failed to fall to within the range required in time for him to be cleared to fight. Nate claimed that he retook tests fight day and was actually within the limit and would have qualified and is expected to be reinstated by the commssion soon.

MAIN CARD
UFC Bantamweight Championship
Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Urijah Faber

Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben

Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader

Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim

Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller

George Sotiropoulos vs. Rafael dos Anjos

This is gonna be a good card, I reckon Carlos Condit and Wandy fight are gonna be very close and could go either way, either one has to be fight of the night if not year. Everyone thinks Cruz will win and he proberly will but I think Fabers gonna find a way its his almost last chance to go for Gold. As for Tito, hes got no choice but to win and not hold back....perhaps we might see the old Tito for a few seconds... before being Retiring :)

One things for sure the fights are on paper look to be close so should be fireworks tommorow.

Please please let Wandy stomp Lemben, not for any other reason other than I am a massive Wandy fan.
I think he might have been in too many wars by now though but we'll see.

Looking forward to tonight, predictions the same as willems above, unless someone pulls a Kongo!

Looking forward to seeing Wandy back in the cage too.

UFC want rid of Tito?? - Discuss...

It's confirmed that if Tito loses, he's cut from the roster, so they've matched him up with a guy who's only loss is to the UFC's second most dominant champion! Harsh!!

(To clarify, I appreciate Jones hasn't defended his title so 'dominant' probably isn't the right word, but just like Silva, there's nobody in his weight class who can beat him right now. If you can think of a better word I'll happily edit my post :D)

Tito has all that experience and age behind him.... bader is just tito in his prime =Disaster

Tito has not exactly been whining or complaining that this is most likely his last fight no doubt after dana white puts him in the hall of fame, hes still always gonna have a job with the ufc or mma... and even when he does loose he still goes home sees Jenna Jameson and suddenly no neck or back pain
