Only watched the main card today. Please Davy Grant got a win, although don’t know why he’s so far down the card. Seems a definite bias against non Americans or foreign cash cows in that sport.
Colby looked a shadow of what he has been. Well beaten by that absolute specimen of a bloke Buckley. Amazes me he makes weight, proper unit.

Not seen it but read it was a dodgy stoppage, with the view that just as well as was going to be taken out in anycase re Colby...

Nah not dodgy at all imo. Big cut on the eye and was losing a lot of blood. Fair stoppage but Colby had no way back from that point anyway. Out classed and well beaten.
 
Could not agree more, the cut on Colby's eye lid was in a dangerous place and my god was it spewing blood everywhere!
But he got absolutely outclassed and looked a shell of himself, couldnt really fire anything off.
 
Father time is undefeated, and he's caught up to Colby - shame really, as it's only in the more recent years that I've grown appreciation and bought in to his schtick. Walking out with Hulk Hogan to "Real American" was amazing, as were his Kurt Angle "You Suck" walkouts.

I may be in the minority, but I think he'll be missed as a character.

If this was not the result of some unfortunate accident then am really tired of dumbass fighters training too hard mere days or even hours before the most important fights of their life. So disappointing.

From what I’ve read in the past fighters do very little actual working out on fight week so the injury thing seems a little suspect, especially one day out

I think if he had of been a little overweight he would have tried to fight at a catchweight. There is no way Armin is turning down that title fight because not only is it the culmination of his hopes and dreams, but it massively affects the success of a big fight card main event where the rest of the card was already a bit weaker than usual. Basically, if his reasons for not fighting are not genuine then he will have put himself on the Dana White poop-list for a long time.

Couple of potentially decent fights this weekend

Adesanya - will be interesting to see how he gets on - back to his cocky best or not.

Magomedov v Page - potential to be a highlight reel KO somewhere in this fight...

Pavlovich v Rozenstruik - Can't see this one going the distance...

Decent card that, some entertaining fights. HW was the dullest by a mile which surprised me. MVP was almost flawless in his game plan and I like to see those whose surnames end in ov lose, shame Izzy couldn’t complete the set.

Yep just caught the MVP fight after the rugby and football etc.

Page was outstanding. Actually better than I thought he might be.

Izzy I think will retire, or "should" retire now. He has a great history. But I don't see him coming back from that (might be wrong ofc).
