For those who thought Fedor had recovered:

Mr wobbly legs time, theres no doubt herb dean made a good call. And yeah if may have been one of those epic kongo moments where fedor may have recovered and pulled something out the hat afterwards.

herb dean needs to where a tshirt playing that gif animation :p

I think fedors done his bit for the world, made his millions can retire and enjoy raising his new daughter and family... coming back to fight say after 6 months or even a year or 2 at his age and 3 losses in a row will be very hard for any fighter.

Dan henderson is a freak, 40 year old man running around looking ripped and like hes still 30 good on him hes chin is still golden and he fights smart and handles tough situations well, its clear we need to see him back in the ufc fighting top 5 guys.

Considering he went out and face planted on the mat, this is just testament to how damn quickly the guy recovers. A little bit of a wobbly leg isn't half bad after how he was finished.

Oh and that TRT is some epic gear.

Fedor is 34, Hendo is 40, i dont think Fedor should retire, but he should take a time out and come back when he is mentally ready to do so. At minimum he needs a 6 month break.

I think this is part of the problem. It's been years since Fedor has fought anyone of any caliber.

I always thought he was a little over rated. Now he seems to get rocked quite easily. It may be time to hang up his gloves.

Speaking of TRT was watching Nate the great against Anderson silva, dont think he was on any TRT then though but couldnt tell;)

Was rewatching tito vs evans... just wanted to see it again, such a shame tito was so obviously grabbing the fence which cost him the fight.

I think tito is going to be refueled with fire in part II.... so he may just come out to finish him again like he did with bader but then again Rashad just improved so much, gonna be an epic fight regardless cant help but feel a bet coming on for tito ;)

Chuck Liddell received $500,000 just by turning up and losing against Shogun in 2009.

Brock Lesnar was guaranteed $400,000 per fight because he was a box office hit what with being a former WWE wrestler. Most fighters will make more in they win but a mix of how they're ranked and how many seats they sell that matters.

I believe that the Ref has to stop a fight if a fighter cannot intelligently defend himself. Hendo clearly knocks Fedor unconcious. He face plants and does not use his free arm to break the fall which is indicative. The fact that the face plant plus being punched a couple of times in the back of the head wakes him back up is completely irrelevant. If he is unconcious then he cannot intelligently defend himself which means the fight is over at that point no matter what happens next.

Great call by Herb Dean in my opinion. I'd put him up there with Big John now. Haven't seen the pre-lim fight so I can't comment on what he was supposed to have missed.

BTW, I can't bring myself to like the bloke after the cheap shot on Bisping but what a slick move by Hendo to reverse the take down and get in behind to a position where he could land the bomb.

Fedor got paid in the millions just for that fight and hendo took home 800k apparantly perhaps more....ESPN claims both fighters got a share of 2.5million!

No idea how strikeforce affords this, that alone is more then all the fighters get under a single ufc card !

Even more shocking is fedor gets this after all the losses, and the viewing figures werent even that high compared to say the silva vs fedor fight or ufc events...

I'm excited to see Akiyama vs Belfort too, think Akiyama should take him down but he won't haha. Dude just loves to stand and bang :)

Hes got heart and loves to bang... obviously everyones predicting belfort to win :) but would be nice to see sexy pull off the biggest upset, he may just end up going for it even more cos this is perhaps his 3rd loss and perhaps cut from ufc... and people are still questioning belfort after a foot to the face lol

I do as well to hell with tactical and gameplan sometimes you just want to see someone fight on pure heart....

I still think Sexy can cause an upset....

this is why Silva > GSP

GSP and his team come up with boring tactical game plans, that's why 5 of his last 6 fights have went to decision and why the other fight went to the end of the 2nd last round.

look at Silva's last few fights and the only boring one when was Sonnen tried to pin him to the ground and hug him for 5 rounds, or when he lost his head against Maia (the first 2 rounds were amazing though), he has always been exciting unless he came up against a boring fighter. he takes huge risks and even taunts his opponents.

Agreed thats what makes Silva top of the list... even if he lost a few matches id still rate him top, purely since hes finishing the fights. Sadly dont see the gps vs silva thing happening too many other top fighters still want a shot at gsp and anderson for now.

So before Akiyama was due to fly out his cornermen got in a car crash and missed their flight, he has replaced them with his mother.

The chance of Tito winning 2 fights in a year and derailing Evans is too funny to not watch 133 no matter how tragic events are for Japan.
