Not sure anyone expected it! I didn’t watch it although had the Rogan fight companion on. Wish I’d put the money I saved on him, would have got me back 36 grand :D
 
You either go out on top or stay around long enough to start losing fights to people you’d previously bully.

Also LOL@the guy that beat Izzy training the guy he beat… to beat Izzy. Couldn’t make it up.

I've never rated Adesanya. But to be fair to him he didn't seem fully engaged in the fight from the start.

I think the Pereira fights give him psychological damage.

:D Never? Really? He's beaten the best in his division. Most of them twice and none of the fights were even close! He's an unlikeable character, I give you that, but he'll go down in history as one of the best to ever be in there.

Yeah, saying that you have 'never rated Adesanya' is a bit of a bizzarre statement.
 
10-8 in the 5th round is completely ludicrous, that’s outrageous

Overall, I think the draw was fair, although the 10-8 is a bit of a wtf, even with Grasso dominating the last few minutes. Several other rounds could have gone either way resulting in a draw despite that though.

Best women's fight in a while though, good scrap.

Yeah respect to him. Didn't think he was the type. Costa is so unreliable however card is shaping up to look much better now, had no fancy for it before yesterday.

Costa vs Chimaev was a fight a lot of people wanted to see, same with Oliveira vs Islam. The Costa vs Chimaev would have been hilarious conferences and we have never seen Chimaev against such a big guy. Oliveira has one of the best stories in MMA and this was his redemption arc. Oliveira was utterly stupid to be hard sparring the day before flying to one of the biggest fights of his life, at least use some ******* headgear. Epic fail.
 
Usman v Chimaev is a belter. Pretty ballsy from Chimaev to take it, he would have battered Costa, but Usman is another level, not the kinda guy to turn down a challenge though. Hope he doesn't **** up the cut this time.
