I find that they punish you severely for the most ridiculous of things such as calling for the ball or being out of position at kick off. :rolleyes:

It just happened now, I scored in the 90th min my rating was 9.5, we then got a penalty and I wasn't involved, we scored then my rating was 6.93 and ended at that. Ridiculous.

What position do you usually play? I find that if I play upfront I struggle to get MoM or 8+ at the end of game. Playing CDM or CM I manage to get MoM and 9+ a lot more.

I'm on PS3, but I hold down the R stick whilst tapping down on the dpad and getting ready to tap x. :p

Analogue held down means you get to the bottom quicker.

Hmm, I wonder if that would work on the 360 (dpad)
 
I always use the dpad to select positions on Pro Club - analogue is so slow in comparison. Though I guess Pro Club is still pretty crap when you compare it to proper Club - far better than 09s version of 10v10 though

Theres always beens glitches with vp pro ratings. The rating bar in game will be maximum and your score in the player ratings screen is like 4.8 ....however there is also match rating screen (where u see who gets mom) and that rating will differ as well. Only one which counts i think is the match rating screen.

I think the ratings are heavily influenced whether you are on the losing side or not. Ive performed near miracles for my losing team goals and assists etc but because we lost i get smt like a 6.


Though I guess Pro Club is still pretty crap when you compare it to proper Club

proper club is harder. An fps analogy its like the difference between playing on a public server and playing in clan matches :p

Just got this on my ps3 (bundle) and given I haven't played a FIFA game since FIFA'02 I'm a bit flumoxed with how pants at shooting the players are.. what happened to the tradtional aiming of left/right/top/bottom areas of the goal? :o

Shooting has improved dramatically since 02 to be honest. You could never specifically choose where to put the ball like you suggest, unless a penalty. Read the manual, there are a fair few ways of shooting. Precision and power are just two of the kinds, changing the settings to manual shooting may improve things but this is for the more advanced player I would say.
 
Been playing this for about a week now on PS3, awful at doing skill, so I generally run a big circle around all the defenders :D. Need to work on my finishing, sometimes i'll score every 1v1, then others i'll miss every one :(
