Has anyone been able to slide the ref and knock him over? I've tried a few times but it doesn't seem to work, much like 09 :(

I do love how after the whistle goes you have a split second to do something, like kick the ball away.

My favourite is when the half time/full time whistle goes, I like to completely batter someone with a sliding tackle from behind!

i don't...it's realistic for the ref to get things wrong. hope they keep them in. don't want fifa to turn into some sterile game where every single decision is correct.

hopefully the occasional offside goal will be scored (and allowed) too!
 
Thats a good point - how are offsides calculated now? Hated how 09 did them (i.e. if your leg stuck out youre offside)...

There seems to be a greater margin allowed. There've been a few times I have thought to myself 'I'm gonna be called offside' only for the flag to stay down.

That often happens to me, I find myself booting the ball towards goal from 50 yards out because I think the ref is going to call it offside, only for my wild shot to go sailing over the bar and a goal kick being given :(
 
Anyone playing all manual on this? Just tried a few games and the shooting is pretty impossible.

Prefer manual as it gives you far more control and I find it much more enjoyable since you can get a decent open game playing the CPU on Pro as on World Class its always felt not a proper game of football...

I hate to say this, but i'm what you would call a 'f4nb0i' of PES over the last few years (i bought PES09 and thought it was good). I played the PES 2010 demo and didn't think it was too bad but i played FIFA 09 round a mates house a little while ago and played the FIFA 10 demo....i think i might be converted :(

Everything just seems...i don't know....better? Like the reaction, passing, shooting, commentary (i hate lawro), stadia! I could probably go on but I won't. I think this year i will bite the bullet and purchase FIFA.

I feel dirty :( :p
 
On World Class, they just constantly turn on the spot and pass with no effort or margin of error at all and then play an inch perfect through ball that cuts and divides the still dodgy cpu positioned defence.

I must be an absoloute retard because I still haven't figured out how to get a link to my uploads from my PS3 on my EA account :(
