Thanks for replying. That sounds good. Game within a game type thing really.
Do you know what the challenges are and are they set per game for example like BAP used to sate score a goal, attain a certain rating?
 
when you create your VP, you gain access to the accomplishment book which has all the challenges and rewards. there's quite a few so it should keep you busy for a while..
 
Anyone encountered another glitch with the game freezing when editing/saving a formation?

Happened twice now so I can't customise a formation, grrr.

I probably could solve it by deleting my FIFA profile but I don't want to lose my VP again. EA make my blood boil!
 
Do ea actually play test any of their own games? This game is trademark ea glitchified. Ive played it for a few hours and encountered many glitches. Off sides which are quite clearly not offside, playing the same match in manager mode several times.

Not a glitch per say but annoying as hell, unfair tackles, the shoulder to shoulder contact in this game is messed up. I cant beat a defender 9/10 now. But it works both ways xD.
 
we are the testers mate. They know the bug and problems through the forum. If everyone in the world boycotted the game because of the bugs maybe they might sort it out the next time. I doubt it though.

Not sure anything has really changed, but either the small improvements are adding up or i`m getting more used to the style, but im scoring 1-2 goals every game right now and got ratings of 9+ in 4 of the last 5 games. Started getting starts for 1st team aswell! Really starting to get in to the game now!

I do think the development seems slightly shallow compared to pro evo's legend mode (pes 09), but it's still good fun.
 
I have a bit of an issue.

Playing in manager mode, I loaned out a load of players at the beginning of the seaon. Now I am about 20 games in, and I have a cup game, I have a few people suspended and it says I must forfeit the match because I don't have enough subs.

The transfer window is closed. Can I recall loans or am I at a loss? I think I'll have to restart as I am after some achievements which I won't be able to get if I forfeit :(
 
I am finding the manager mode really annoying, I am playing as the mighty Accrington Stanley and my weakly wage bill was just none existent (~£11k). I have no spare money and only 8players outside of the first 11.

I keep crawling to wins but the team just has no stamina ever and there isn't anything I can seem to do about it. At the moment I have my substitute goalkeeper playing in central midfield constantly.

Last night I got promoted to league one and my wage budget went up to £20kish but its still too small as no one will sign for me. I tried to sign a 34year old attacker with a rating of 40 and he wanted £1.8k a game....

/Moan over.

At least they have made it more difficult this time around.

I played Fifa 09 on legendary, but am not good enough on this one yet. Currently stuck on world class, hopefully if i get a few more players I can rotate my squad better and bump up the difficulty.

I am finding this too. I'm playing as Cheltenham Town in League 2 and currently grinding out 1-0 (maybe 2 if i'm lucky) wins. It seems as though everyone is in the orange for stamina and i'm lucky if one of my reserves or subs is in the green. Tis a bit frustrating.

I think I have to be a bit more sensible, as I think i'm still in Pro Evo mode of trying to run and skin everyone :D a bit more passing and thought needs to go into my play somewhat.

On the plus side manager mode is far superior to pro's master league and however good Pro Evo 2009's Become A Legend was, Be A Pro on FIFA10 batters it. I started it last night (adding my gameface :cool: ) and it's so much more fun and involving. It's also nice not being subbed exactly the same time every game!!
 
I've found everyone I've played with on Pro Club Championship to be quite good in regards to passing and general playing. Have enjoyed every game I've played in that mode so far.

I find it helps if you lead by example. If you set someone up, they're more likely to play it to you.
