Hi all. seeing as fifa 12 will now have club mode ie 11v11. who is up for creating a club/clan?

I can lead the way as i have experience in running a previous club from fifa 9-11 on the ps3 version.

We need a minimum of 20 active players for this to work so right now just testing the waters and see who is interested.

why 20? because we need backups as the chances of all of us being online at the same time is impossible so the more we get the more likely that when you come on their will be a few of us online.

Put your name down your Steam name and your Origin name(ia ssume this will be a origin game?)

Here are some rules you must obey:

  • You cant play in the same position every time. we will rotate postions meaning you will sometimes even play as a GK or a defender
  • Do not use the skill feature on fifa. only use it when your sure you can pull it off
  • Do not hog the ball. PASS PASS PASS as soon as you recieve it(Go and watch just one game from barcelona to understand the concept)
  • Play as a team. This is a team game. no lone wolf crap please.

If any of the above rules are broken repeatedly you will be kicked out of the club.

If we can get 20+ active members here we can get this moving forward.

well if that is most peoples opinions about the mode i will just create a xbox 360 club as plenty of console guys love this game mode.

You shouldnt bash it without trying it
 
well its pretty simple. you control one player in the pitch and you play football just how you would in real life.

Like in real life, if your a CF but constantly go AWOL, when a winger delivers a cross on the box and your not their, you could have potentially scored the winning goal fom your team.

same goes for defenders. go awol and you will get punished.

Thats what makes this mode so special, the fact that all it takes is just one idiot in the team and it will cause everyone else to lose the game and get frustrated.

This is why i have implemented the rules above. to help force everyone to play as a team, keep in position and pass the ball as quick as you can. Trust me, once playing inn a organised team, this game mode is sooo much superior then 1v1 games

About one touch passing, i have only implemented that rule to get peoples mindset to able to pass the ball quickly instead of hogging the ball. Of course you can take a touch or two or even hold the ball for long if your trying to slow down the play helping us defend the lead and trying to draw a foul. Its all common sense but these rules are here just as a reminder really. It will take us a while to gel but so long as we stay in positons and roate/share postions and try to pass the ball quick. we will all be fine and enjoy ourselves.

Trust me lads. this game mode is revolutionary in the footballing gaming world. as revolutionary as the first 1v1 local MP game you could play.

nice one lads. looks like we good number of players so far. need more though. what times do u guys normaly are free to play games? me? 9pm-11pm weekdays

you can change your camera to whatever you like. You dont necesarily need a mic but it will be handy!
 
We set up a game via origins or steams friends list. we will add eachother in your friends list and if u see 3-4 of us online. message us and ask if where playing fifa 12.

after u and the 3 other guys are playing, its likely that u will play a few club games. I may come online say on the 2nd game, ask one of u 4 if your playing and just join in when the next game begins. simple stuff
 
any day of the week we will play. this is why we need 20+ players. not all of us can play weekdays/weekends as you can see so if we get loads of us signed up, you can at least expect a few of us online at most times.

We dont need 11 on at the same time. 5 people online in clubs is still blooming fun mate

if origin has abuilt in friends list like steam then we will stick with that
 
From past experience, setting people to play specific areas doesnt work and kills it for many. Again im only going by experience and what i have learned is that sharing out positions is the best way as you get to play in various different roles and positions.

For me, i dont mind playing anywhere in the field as i have fun regardless if im a CB or a striker. It is a team game and everyone of us playing HAS an important role to play in. do not forget that lads, a striker could score he winning goal for us but at the same time a CB could clear the ball off the line or make last ditch tackle in the 90th minute.

I think many here seem to be new at this club mode so it will take time for u o gel. i expect all of us to be out of position and running like headles chicken in the first few weeks of playing it so i wont be too strict in booting people out if they are out of position all the time.

Their will be some leanancy. But what we all must do from day 1 is share out the positions. if you played as a CF in the first game, please go and select a different position like a CB or a midfielder.

The importance is that we all want to have fun right and to have fun we want to be competitive in club games. In order to be competitive we must play as a team

We would decide postions before we played then stuck to them for that session then as people joined through the night they would fill in any postions that was free. Then as people went offline or had breaks postion swaping would happen natrual.

I have never been in a club that swaps postions evey game. But if thats what people want to do i would happily go with it. I just think it will lead to very inconsistant results and performances but would be the most fair way.

much harder to organise specific sessions and dates to play. Also i cant imagine anyone here would stick to playing as a CB all night long.

rotation is the best and most fairest way imo
 
right my origin name is jon_da_kiss and i have just found out i have 3 seperate origin accounts! One of them registered to an email i no longer used much and i tried to change my email address and then found out that email address already has a freaking origin account(when did i create another one?) i tried to change the name of this new origin account with my proper name and it wont let me as its taken by one of the other origin accounts i got lol.
 
I had a quick look at Origin app and there is no functionaily to create a group like steam so as of now i will definetly need your Steam ID's as well as your origin username.

i will create a steam group soon and add u all to it. I am hoping we can add fifa 12 as a none steam game. that way we can completely forget about Origin as IMO its pants
